Hi there, I used touch markers I bought a box of 12 standard colours and a box of 12 assorted greys to try them out, this was my first attempt. I used some white household emulsion paint because I made a mistake and ruined a couple of the pens by marking over it, the pens lifted some of the paint off as I coloured over the areas whitened out and it was absorb into the nibs which blocked them I did not realise this until I had ruined a few more.

I imagine that all of these type of marker pens do this because they are all alcohol based so be careful what you use them on if you are thinking of using them over the top of pain then don't do it unless you are sure that the paint wont ruin them.

24 sounds like a set of marker pens, if so then the verdict is still out on that question.

One big piece of advice don't use them to draw over house hold emulsion paint, it kills them.

It clogs the nibs so the pigment solution does not flow making them almost useless.

With all due respect for your comment and opinion I too have an opinion.

I think drawing is just drawing whether it is with a pencil, marker, a stick in the sand or a graphics tablet its still drawing and having drawn images with all these tools I admit the least interesting for me is the graphics tablet.

Photographic realism doesn't do it for me either the reason for this is they are too exact without character but still very useful for design and building ideas. Thanks
