These stunts are dangerous and disrespectful to horses. I can't even imagine the daily stress you put them under. You are not a horseman, but a clown performing circus stunts. I can see you are self taught, I recommend you take dressage with a good trainer. Your trainer would never let you disrespect yourself or your animals. ok read some info on the drinking and eating after a workout, ppl have different beliefs on it....but after a hard workout horses can't drink much water afterwards or they will get sick, depends on alot of circumstances, how sweaty or hot the horse is,......are they foaming from being so hot, all depends......but I wouldn't judge or make assumptions on one meeting, his horses don't look neglected in any way......they look healthy :)

ppl need to be educated before they open their mouths and say things against ppl......you can't water or feed horses right after working them, it can cause their stomache problems and kill them, so he probably was allowing the horses to cool down before feeding and watering them....
@horseluvrz Feeding, definitely wait. I was taught that years (too many years) ago. But the new recommendation is to allow a hot horse to drink water, walk, drink some more. Water should never be limited, especially when you want to cool a horse. Makes sense.
I saw guy mclean at nambore show he was awsome in the arena but my opinion changed very soon after I saw what he did whith his horses they where in there pens in the sun sweaty and hot there flanks tucked up and there was no water in there buckets and they where very thirsty and he gave them nothing to drink that is when my opinion changed of him he was talking to a fan and did not care about the horses thirst and after all those horses did for him he did not even give them some water

You must be very dillusional because he always puts his horses first. I was also at the nambour show and I was actually helpin him with his horses and saw him give them water as I was very close to them, helping him. So don't judge when you have no idea.
@Kadiplz your opinion again but I was there and he did not give them water they where tuckked up in the sides and swaeting after the long show in the sun and the horses pens where in the sun and he did not give them water I lost all respect for him that day

Oh and have you ever heard " you can bring a horse to water but you cant make them drink it". I have been to his every show in nambore and I was actually the one looking after them. I saw with my own two eyes being 40cm away from the horses he gave them water. So trust me him and his horses are amazing, and he is a good guy.
