buchanan clearly said at the beginning what "the argument made against her" would be and was describing what voters "might" think.

in case no one noticed, he was on the same network lavishing praise on Obama after his speech. Yet, no one shouted "hypocracy" and mistook buchanan for an Obama-man.

even in his praise for palin he spoke at length about what McCain and republican voters think, want and feel.

I don't see any hypocrisy from Pat Buchanan in this video. Before the election he said she supported him in 92 and he really liked her. He emphasized that "we'll see" if the American people embrace her. He wasn't castigating her. Afterwords he seemed quite positive about her nomination.
