First of all, modern day China isn't socialist and communist, it hasn't been for more than 30 years. In fact, it's more capitalist than western European states. And China never adopted Marxism or Leninism ever in its history, it was actually the main contributing reason why there was a China-Russo Split in the 60s.

CCP claims itself to be communist, but in truth none of its modern policies have anything to do with communism. Communism discourages foreign investments, free market, open competition,etc, and yet look at what China is today.

My point is that despite it claims itself to be, China isn't communist. For example the CCP calls itself the Chinese Communist Party, yet none of its policies are communist in nature. I doubt you even understand what communism means.
Because if China is communist, there would be no market exchange systems in place, there would be no import and export to the international market, and you wouldn't see so many "Made In China", and all firms would be nationalized.

Actually, Marx and Engels simply described the Communist transition process as a result of the capitalist exploitation of the proletariat, which would cause an uprising and overthrow of the capitalist elites on the social hierarchy, and placing the proletariat in command of the productions.
So it isn't the 5 steps process as you have stated.
Chinese market reforms in the 1970s is already a breakaway from communism, and there is no turning back as it is now the world's third largest economy.

first of all, not all founding fathers were slavery owners. for example, ben franklin became an abolitionist.
in 18th century political terms, "men" were white (protestant) land owning males. that was the political context of the time. it took a long and bloody history to include everyone else and no one is denying that.
