There should be a doco made on this little band who made qiute a ding in the charts in the early Seventies.Yes,pure Pop,but the funny thing is,tunes such as these endure and capture a lovely essence of the easy feel of 71 and 72. And Sally Carr.... what an amazing voice and a beautiful woman,then and now.A tight little band who loved what they did!

I recall the fantastic Shakatak lead singer Jill a real looker with the big hair etc.but move on 25 years+ not a pretty sight! overweigfht in 2006. Yet up to 1994 she was superb in Brazilian Love affair! Highly recommended and little less a hit song band than Middle of the road. Still Sally is still looking great here -but in Hot Pants? at her age and in this day & age? Gotta be joking!

There's another recording of her more recently live and it's a shame as at least with that example her voice has not retained it's magic. That being said it is even more huskier and I'd bet in a studio it would come together, (or maybe with that auto tune device). A lot of singers with these unique higher voices seem to never quite match the old recordings we are used. to., but I'd rather hear live and rough then miming or backing tracked. These days we are spoiled by electric perfection.
