@GYLEN1234 I have given up on the organized church. But not Jesus Christ. I know there are wonderful people in the churches. But have had too many bad experiences in churches to be tempted to go back. Now and then I go to a certain church. But only now and then. God bless you.

@julieification Not to get into your business or anything, but I once went to a Christian fellowship where every single person at the fellowship (including me) left their church and didn't see the point in going to church at a period in their life. The host of the meeting sympathized with our frustrations and encouraged us to be the change we want to see in church. Have you ever thought that maybe church needs you to be the change you want to see?

@ncarter350 Do you know that I am not the type to just sit and say nothing. Duh, right? That's why I am on you tube. As for being the change, I once suggested to the large S.S. class I was in (the church I have started going to again) that this church needed to have an outdoor revival with donuts and coffee. Get out there where the people are. After all, the church owns a log of grass. I was stared at silently. Cliches are just cliches. They aren't necessarily relevant. Thanks tho.

@julieification I didn't say this to upset you and I'm sorry if I did. I was just speaking from experience and thought I would share because your situation spoke to my heart. After not being in church for 6 months and then going back it was one of the best decisions I made but I understand if that was just my experience and not yours. @julieification One more thing... Hebrews 10:25 talks about not forsaking coming together as a body of believers, especially as you see Christ's coming drawing near. @ncarter350 My family and I go to 2 different churches. Pastors are NOT God.  They often don't know the Bible. No, the enemy is not the problem here. It is the ignorance of seminary trained "pastors" and the boring and redundant "praise" songs. The coming together does not have to be church. Where 2 or more are gathered....

u know u can still look for God in your upper room, then its only between you and the Lord, you are the Temple where his spirit wants to dwell in if you open the door of your heart, the Church is a place where Gods children come toghether to praise him with one voice, the place to look for God is in your heart, he will make himself known to those who truly look for him, that is how i found Jesus i surrendered to him with all of my heart, because of him i am still alive bless u my friend
