You can put shader details to very high and AA to 8xCSAA and still get 35-50 fps out of it.

I have more or less the same specs as you do...except it's an i5-460M

Just a heads up if you want to force it to give better looking graphics and still get good performance you can do so.

The source engine has a history of being "kind" to VGAs and it is better than any intel graphics card.

Personally, I don't mind the 310M...for an intergrated it's certainly one of the better ones its a good little card

That's good enough for a laptop :) I didn't even expect to be able to play any newish games on it at all.

What kind of framerates are you getting? I have the exact same specs as you, cool to see it will run decently.

@Niluxmidd 40 to 60FPS but its normally around the 40 to 45 mark in some places i get 60 frames but its smooth just leave all settings to high shadow can go to very high but thats when it lags so keep that high for no lag enjoy :)
