  • If I ever had any doubts about the Yuri element between Galinda and Elphie before this song, they were all gone by the end xD

  • BOO

    AAH!

  • Maybe I should start calling my dad popsicle...

  • Originally this song is called , what is this feeling, but that's okay because i typed in loathing into the Youtube search bar, so... yea <3 it

  • This sounds a lot more like it's describing....something else, rather than loathing.

  • I loathe 7 people right now :D

Honestly, was there any song in this musical that wasn't amazing. I just saw this on broadway and it was amazing. Every element of the musical was phenomenal.

  • STOP FIGHTING ABOUT BLONDES!!!!!(AND NO I DONT CARE IF I SPELLED IT WRONG!!!!) GOODNESS!!!

  • i went to see this live!!! but not in Broadway in my towns theater. no offense.... it was kinda better....:|

  • I can just image Hidan and Kakuzu singing this.

  • i sing this all the time with my friend :3

  • This is the only song from a musical that I enjoy listening to over and over again.

  • im blonde and i can spell blonde.

  • @ShellTard But you cant spell I...

  • @gypsiecat1 touche.

  • did this for a show n loved it :) xxxx

  • 7 people loath this song.

  • Two girls in my year did this duet and the funniest thing was that they both hate each other too! It just worked so perfectly!

  • @ToriActing its amazing

  • Cannot believe that there hasn't been any comments about how amazingly AWESOME this song is for a whole 2 weeks !!! :O

  • Love you for uploading this @Jolidesordre but it's called What Is This Feeling not Loathing. Anyways, why is everyone here fighting about on how to spell blonde and the World War ll? Weird...

  • as i understand it, it is spelled "blonde" when used as a noun referring to a light-haired lady (as in "she is a dumb blonde"). the hair color itself (at least in the u.s.) is spelled "blonde" or "blond". both spellings are in the dictionary.

  • You are actually arguing about WW2 on a video of a Wicked song? :s

  • I live in Tennessee, and I've always been taught it to be spelled Blonde? Hmm.

  • @PracticallyRational lol thats b/c u can spell it blonde or blond. either way is correct, maybe in England or Canada they only spell it one way, idk.

  • WHERE DID THIS BLONDE SHENANEGIAN FIGHT START FROM? >.<

  • To make it clear, England people or Canadians or more say BLONDE.

    AMERICANS say blond?

Please thumbs up because I really want ppl to see this so everyone won't fight and apologize! :(

  • England - Blonde

    America - Blond

England was here first, we win this round ;)

  • @AeriDesigns U.S. also kicked your ass twice and saved it in WWII...we win everything else :)

  • @EthanIsASuperhero Correction, USA came in late and took all the glory for a war we fought all the way through.

  • @AeriDesigns actually, in america we use blond and blonde, u can spell it either way. just like grey is spelled grey or gray.

  • @AeriDesigns

wait!! since when!!!?!? i live in Massachusetts and i spell it B-L-O-N-D-E O____o

  • I know I'm way to big a Harry Potter fan because I thought of this video while reading Harry Potter and came up with a music video of this song, starring Professor Snape and James Potter.

  • @LovePeaceShopping I dont think soo, Is it??? ive got the cd and thats not what it says. But idk. Thanks though :D

  • my choir is seeing this during spring break in New York!!!!

  • BOO!

  • @LondonLadybug AAHH!!!!

  • It's called 'What Is This Feeling'

  • Its actually "what is this feeling" not "loathing" ay.

Not trying to be smart, just pointing it out. Thanks for uploading this anyway :D

  • im dancing to this at a camp called CYT!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • Well i dont see how galinda is the good witch!!! this song is wicked!!

  • @cheerobsessed61 She starts off as a normal popular girl, but then after she becomes glinda the good witch.

  • Well i dont see how galinda is the good witch!!!

  • >.< =.=

  • 5 people loath this song

  • My favourite song on the Wicked soundtrack. I was quite young when I was introduced to Wicked, so I thought they said "loaving" and I wondered why they were singing about bread... :P

  • Glinda: Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and all together quit impossible to describe

    Elphaba: Blonde

    XDDD

  • I did this song for chorus last year

  • What is this feeling so sudden and new? I felt the moment I layed eyes on you. My pulse is rushing. My head is realling. My face is flushing. What is this feeling. Fervid as a flame. Does it have a name Yeeesss This is how my parents say they fell in love. Funny how love and loathing can begin so similarly.
  • I Done a workshop with them today!! It Was Amazing! (Theatre Train):D

  • 4 people have obviously never 'Loathed' :P

  • BLONDE

  • Four people have obviously never listened to music.

  • Dearest darlingest Momzie and Popsicle. xD

  • I know

  • @trrevorrforreverr then why are you watching videos on musical songs?

  • i loathe 3 ppl

  • It astounds me how many people can't spell Blonde..

  • @Nudophobic Blonde can also be spelled as "Blond"

  • @DeoxysDNA C'est vrai, mais .... (It's true but) The reason why there is two spellings is because it comes from a french word. When referring to a female you should add the "e".

  • @doeeyeddoll Yeah but still, it's not technically wrong based on where you live.

  • @DeoxysDNA No I believe that is exactly what it is "technically" wrong

  • @doeeyeddoll Not really. Different cultures always have different dialects or ways of spelling things. Just because something is wrong in one doesn't mean it is in another. Even if that country had the word first. If it was wrong then it would be a slang term but it's acceptable to spell it that way. You will find this to be the case with many other words too.

  • @Nudophobic there are two types of the word 'blonde'. there is 'blonde' which is for females and 'blond' which is for male. i know what you mean though, im just making sure other people dont try to correct you and then there is another fight in fron of this wonderful song.

  • @Nudophobic it appears you gave the word that people apperently can't spell an un-needed capital letter?

  • @Nudophobic it's blond. Putting an 'e' at the end refers to it being a woman specifically, so people usually don't do that. Get it? :)

  • @Nudophobic Its spelt differently depending where you're from.

  • @Nudophobic

The alternate way is Blond. How are they spelling it?

  • @Nudophobic I think it depends on gender, if there male it's blond. If there female it's blonde

  • @Nudophobic theres two versions.. Blond for guys, and Blonde for girls. I know its weird but this language and french do that as far as i know.

  • i love how their voices go so well with each other

  • Did anyone notice that, in the poster, the white witch's neck isn't completely finished? It ends at the bottom of her thumb; an abrupt cut off.

  • Unusually and excedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe......

    Blonde

  • I feel this feeling towards three people.

  • lmao i love this... "blond.."

  • i looooveeee this song even better live!!!

  • This reminds me of some people.

  • I love this

  • Hah,yeah. . .BLONDE. Lmao,but good song; nice harmonies.

  • I am going to see Wicked today with my BFF!!

  • @lhsbonez Again, lol

  • i love this song

  • "Blonde." Yeah, that should sum it up. ;)

  • The name of this song is called "What is this Feeling" not Loathing. Jussssst sayingggggg....xD

  • LOVE this song and idina menzel and kristen chenoweth are amazing. who agrees?

  • Apparently three people LOATH this song!

  • There's a strange exhilaration in such total detestation.

  • i saw this at london - it was (and is) the best show ever!!! the problem when i was watching was there was a gay guy sitting behind me lol

  • @catamelia8 and why was that a problem...?

  • @OhhNooYouuDidntt just so you know i don't have anything against people wh are gay, lesbian or bisexual its just throughout the intier play he was like "haaaahaaaha! OMG! really! is that girl in front of us looking at us?"

  • @kingelf3

"What is this feeling, Etc. My Pulse is rushing, My head is reeling.."

When you see someone you fancy your pulse goes up, Your head starts messing up and you blush, so is this a hidden message? Or am i the only one that sees this?

Right, Now that I've fixed your awful Grammar.

Reponse - No, Your idea is, bluntly, stupid. It's because that they have never felt such hatred for one person, hence the name of the song "Loathing, and it says in the song how much they hate each other.

  • @SuperDan53 ok 1 yes i no i cant spell so theres need to point it out it not big to mone about others spelling 2 im just saying that when i see this girl i fancy the same things happen to me my pulse gose up i cant think right and i blush so i was just saying if you read it and i i no the name of the song is loathing but from the deepest hatered springs the gratest love (8/10) times thats true so my point is valled even if you dont understand the way i see things and dont correct my spelling NT

  • @kingelf3

9/10 times all statistics are made up on the spot.

    Elphaba and Glinda are straight.

Point is invalid, as this song has nothing to do with them secretly want to bang each other.

  • @SuperDan53 elphaba and glinda my b straight but my point is still vallied as i no wt im on about even if u dont c it and i never said want bang each other thats u reading more into wt i put then there is i said from the deepest hate springs the gratest love and guess wt they became best m8s in the show and that is a form of love

  • @kingelf3

    INVALID

    INVALID

    INVALID

  • @SuperDan53 just give in m8 im to hard headed to back down i have a point and im sticking to it if u dont agree its kk but still i have an opinjon

  • @kingelf3

    Inferior...Typing...INVALID!

  • @SuperDan53 hold on i cant lose cos of my spelling

  • @kingelf3

    Not...A...Question Of..losing...Typing...is...INVALID

  • @SuperDan53 ok i guess but bad spelling or not my point is valid

  • love this song haha :)

  • It's "What is This Feeling" not "Loathing". It does say loathing a lot, but it's not called "Loathing".

  • It's appropriate for ages 8 and up.

  • is the play appropriate for 10 and 14 year old kids?

  • i saw it a week ago, im 14.

    it's very appropriate, don't worry.

  • This, Popular and No Good Deed are with out a doubt my favourite songs from the entire musical.

By the way, I love the fact that songs like this are basically the only songs that don't have arguments on them.

  • yeh ure right

but for me its all about defying gravity

  • The song is kind of an argument in itself.

  • The ending of this song is EPIC

  • When I heard this on my second time, I actually thought that the understudy was better then the original character, as they didn't harmonize well. Not to name names, though.

  • i love this snogs

  • I seriously think they should change the name to "loathing" they say "what is this feeling?" about 2 times in the actual song. lol.
