@SyrupHut i did this in 1.1 and used pistons to make not just a double wheat farm but a quadruple wheat farm with red stone and i got 4 stacks of seeds and just over 5 stacks of wheat so thx for this tutorial it gave me the inspiration to build the one i did

I had a similar problem. If I tried to place or break something, it would just disapear. I later discovered there was just one area of land that was like this. I declared the bit of land, reatard land. Just run far from it and you should have no more problems.

GUYS PLEASE HELP!! When I first saw this and made it,it worked,but now as 1.0.0 and 1.1 came I can't do shit! When I place 2 seeds next to eachother,instead of to start growing,both of them dissappear,just dissappear.I try replacing the block and hoeing it again but that doesn't work.I tried everything and this bug is getting on my nerves since I can grow 5 wheat in 20x2 farm.Please help me!! I don't know how to fix this bug and I can't find it anywhere on the internet!

Something terrible is happenning with my farm,i'm on 1.0.0 patch andI have exactly the same farm,but when I'm planning seeds on half of the spots I plant them on(Hoed,all of them) the seeds just dissappear,they dissappear and if I try placing seeds on that spot again it dissappears again and not only that,it wipes out seeds sorounding that spot .. Why!!?!??! I need some help please!

i did this same farm, thanks Syrup! but i did it 10 wide (to have a wider area to walk and prevent mistakes steping on the crops) and used pistons to let the water flood the crops

install floodgate mod run restone from all flood gates to a button (using repeaters where nessesary). there you go a 1 button automatic farm and if you don't want to use the mod just use pistons instead.

@socccerPlayerz Check your light levels. If there is not enough light the seeds or anything you are trying to plant will pop out of the soil and will after a few tries will be destroyed.

@lauwi98 It isn't that hard to figure it out yourself. I made it. Then switched it up a little on my server, added pistons and a "Water Valve" down the bottom so you can stand there, flick and collect :P
