He's always been a weird guy. He lived in the USA for a while and got his butt sent back to Canada. I always thought he was a bit odd, but not capable of such an act.
Yesterday according to testimony they found Altinger's remains in a sewer pipe near Twitchell's parents' house. As for Dexter influencing him... Not really. He tries to look like Dexter, and probably relates to the character in terms of being an outcast and having an urge to murder someone, but the truth is this guy is just a psychotic wannabe. He murdered someone for absolutely no reason and was pretty sloppy about it too. And they have enough evidence to bury the guy it seems.
What an f---king ediot this guy is. I can bet that in Canada here. This guy will get life in prision but will be released in two years to kill again. This guy should be fried in the electic chair.

Im not gonna accuse this Mark Twitchell for killing that poor guy. thats what a jury is for. but i just hope that no one blames the show for what he "allegedly" did. he is the one who made his choice and him alone. its truly is stupid that people blame tv shows, games , etc for the crimes other people commit. Ultimately people for themselves not a tv show or other entertainment sources.
If that circumstantial evidence is all they have and they convict him I will be shocked. How can you convict someone of murder when you can't even prove someones been murdered? I love that the clip ended with the statement that police had NO OTHER SUSPECTS. Really?! no other suspects? How many people worked on the film, hell how many people read the script? No other suspects. nice work guys.
Having the police tell you that your friend was chopped up to into pieces, dumped and then the remains being eaten by coyotes and other animals was proof enough for us... and yeah, that never got printed in the papers or put on the news. The police withheld that information from the media for a number of reasons.
How do they know that it was Mark Twitchell who killed my friend...should have seen his garage, where it happened for yourself. Not the kind of thing any person would have to see, or even remember, that I can promise you
He has nothing in Common with the Fiction Killer, Dexter. Dexter Kills other Killers who he know for sure has killed other people. Twitchell just killed some guy he tricked on the internet to meet him.
This guy planned all this, so I'm sure he planned to write on his myspace that he has alot in common with dexter so he can place blame on a TV show so it would take some of the steam & Guilt off of Him.

Wow. Sounds kinda like one of the "Scream" movies where the killer from the movie shows up in real life and kills the people in the movie.
Doesn't sound much like "Dexter", and by the way this guy doesn't look like Michael C. Hall at all.

Argh, since Mark was a fan of the show it's not impossible he made a film that looks like Dexter.
They do not have a body, Twitchell has not committed any past murders, he's a damn filmmaker and I have received an email from
him (answer to a question) and he's not that type of guy really.
Also, he looks nothing like Dexter, even if he do it's possible because he's a fan of the show.
If he's charged with this that means the system doesn't work in CA.
