some advice: roll back on the distortion and turn off all of the effects to clean up your sound. Learn how to properly EQ your amp so you can achieve a decent tone. Slow way down and learn proper string bending and vibrato techniques. Learn how to utilize the pentatonic scale to play licks/solo ideas. Play something that actually sounds like music. You are only cheating yourself with poor technique, sloppy playing, and tons of effects/distortion to hide your mistakes.

It doesn't have to be 50 notes per second to be awesome, check out the Second solo of the song Avantasia - The Seven Angels, by Timo Tolkki of Stratovarius. It ain''t that hard if you've played guitar for some time, but it sounds beautiful. It isn't the fastest solo in the world, but it's fast AND melodic. Check it out.
