I'm not saying Turco didn't dive, I think that he should probably have received 2 minutes for diving, but he did get hit in the head, so 2 minutes for high sticking to Goren...players dive all the time to make sure the ref sees the penalty, this one is a bit more obvious though and should have been offsetting minors on the two...

Is diving a fundamental aspect of the game? Of course not... Is diving in the rule book as a 2 minute penalty? ABSOLUTELY... it is as much a part of the game as hooking, slashing, high sticking, etc.... whether you like it or not as a fan, taking a dive is in the minds of some players, to give their team an advantage. You would be a fool to think that diving doesn't occur frequently. Just search for diving videos on here and see what you find..."Crosby Dive Vs Detroit Game 4" is a good one.
