sure looked like the dude!i remember thinking that particular cover was kinda nasty when i was 8 or so,don't know why exactly, weird memories...beavis and butthead tore that "CRY" video a new one.i agree with you about "our lips are sealed".yes, that BELINDA was almost too much for me to take in all at once. MAJOR kudos for having EDDY GRANT and touch of grey.
I have to apologize for the inferior quality to this video. I was so sick (the reason I had time to do this) that I am sniffling through the whole thing and the choppy editing...ugh! What can I tell ya? This video=Sickly
I can't believe you have no Debbie Gibson - she was SOO hot! (well she was when i was like 10 anyway) Awesome collection tho (only cos very similar to mine!!)
Now referring back to your movie tribute video. Anything by "Genesis" takes me back to Patrick Bateman's (American Psycho) ramblings of how he feels about their work.
I have a ton of 80s music in my iTunes collection, but I can honestly say that I have outgrown the Pop-y Peter Gabriel era, I don't think I have anything from that era in his music in there.
It just comes off so much more dated than musical and original.
You are so right. After these videos are done, i'll put them away again. or sell the bad ones on ebay. Somebody's gotta still like Bon Jovi, right? Shit, I got Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, New Kids, Menudo. I was 13 and DJing sweet sixteens, what do ya think little girls liked back then? That's why i laugh when people blame today's music on Miley Cyrus or Jonas Brothers. You are always gonna have that...ya know, for kids! It's the college /adult artists who SUCK.
Gene Loves Jezebel and Haircut 100 made this video rock. Of course GNR as well.

I have every one of her singles actually but I didn't think it would make the world a better place by playing them. Would you care to buy them?

Crap, I didn't know the song "Cry" was an 80s song. A Canadian group named The Philosopher Kings covered it. Check it out.

I would say that music definetly reached its apex in the 1980's. It was all downhill after that.

Trust me......it would be heaven.
So glad I saved what ever vinyl a bought when I was younger.
And my mother's old LPs
People crap on the 80's but the music is still memorable.
Rock, metal, pop, R&B, etc...all had different sounds but was loved by everyone.
Loved the Genesis & GoGo set!
Hall & Oats - need one on their own.
Saw your video the other day and felt kind of bad for not commenting...always watch but don't always comment.
