I felt connected right away.. I've gone to cathlic churches to pentecostal and I like the pentacostal as I love the music and how they taught yet I felt that I needed to be included as to what felt right, and my own connection to God and others this is wher Unity and Science of mind came in.. That God lies withing us, others our thoughts , and we are are worthy & have a divine calling and connections..it is very positive and Holistic- Mind-Body and Spirit and not to mention practiical
Thank You for sharing. I love Science of Mind. Daily I read, meditate and practice SOM and I Am amazed at how this has changed me. Perfect God, Perfect Man, Perfect Being. So Beautiful is the Truth.
I am a Religious Science (Science of Mind) minister and I think Jimmer is great. We do NOT have to park our brain at the church door, there is a God who loves us unconditionally and is our Creator, not our parent. God is all there is, Jimmer is on a great path. There is a power for Good in the Universe and we can use it! Thanks, Jimmer! Hear more at YouTube/revdore
I have been studying and practising Science of Mind for about 9 years now. Ernest Holmes was a man of genius. A man ahead of his time. SoM changed my life. There is no SoM centre where I live so it is a solitary practise for me but that does not matter.. It changes lives for the better.
I was led to the teaching of Charles Holmes for similar reasons. I visited Carton Pierson when he was in Tulsa. I couldn't find anyone to help me understand the revelations I had Pastors thought I was blaspheming God . So my journey was long and lonely. I am so excited that you me Carton and thousands more are finding our spirituality. This was and is the plan of God and the bible is full of examples and teachings that validate Science Of The Mind. What A rewarding journey.
Carlton Pearson, who was a fundamentalist pentecostal preacher, had a revelation that Christ died to save everyone, and they are saved whether they accept it or not. He is now a 'new thought' minister.
Loved your video! My family and I have been attending The Center for Spiritual Living Tri Cities for a few months now. I was raised Jehova's witness and my girlfriend was raised Roman Cathloic and since attending we have found that connection and oneness that we hav never experienced, and have been searching for all along in our previous "religious upbringings".
HI there, i enjoyed your video. I seem to have an instinctive, spontaneous knowing that the philosophies held by the religious science church are true- it seems to make sense to me. Congratulations on finding your path- and church ! I'm going to look more into whats going on in that vein here in London, Lee
Excellent! I'm enjoying Ernest Holmes... I also love the is an excellent path to a connection with our source. You can find this truth in many other books as well.
Yes last year I was feeling down and out after being laid off and never being drawn to any religion a friend suggested Center for spiritual living that teaches science of mind and it turned out wonderful.
I am one of the fortunate few americans that was not baptized into 1 of jesus's cults. I am now a part of a secularist organization. I have personally witnessed to many new thought people and born again christians. These people have abandoned the warm fuzzies of spirituality, jesus and religion for the intellectual integrity of atheism.
i came from the same backround, my family is Roman catholic and i never knew about religious science nor science of mind but so far i love it any time you want to talk let me know! i wish you all the best.
We stay "open at the top". Our members have very different views of the "religion" but the commonalities are that we believe in one god everywhere present. It is our thinking that creates our reality. Science is beginning to find more and more about our connection with each other. Peace mind, joyful heart.
hi I went to a religious science when I was 6-11 I stopped going to church but now that I am 19 I feel like I want to reconnect with god again, alot of people dont understand this religion or agree with it but from what I remember I liked it alot. most religious science people have always been so nice and not judgemental, im still unsure what the religion is about, I think it is freedom thinkers? please help me and talk to me about it!
I've posted another video. I'm taking the foundations class. Amazing... Besides enjoying my life every moment, I've been able to achieve a lot of things I would've called miracles. Now they are just life. Other cool stuff I've found "entanglement theory and string theory... I could go on and on!
@jimmer71 I would love to learn more about the foundations class and how I can participate in this teaching. Is this something that is available online? Enjoyed your video!
nice share. after ckeching out religious science a little over the years i've started to read "science of mind" by earnest holmes. my grandfather, at one point in his life was attending that church near where we lived. I di not know that until after he transitioned. i found "your mind can heal you" among other of hsi books and asked my family about this, we had some great & unexpexted talks about spiritual matters in hs last few years. sure would have been great to discuss this
Hi. :) You're lucky you're able to attend the Church of Reliigious Scinece. I've been interested in this church ever since I came across a book of Luoise L. Hay but we don't have it in Bulgaria. :( Still may be I should try to get in touch with thm via email.
PLEASE BEWARE: Religious Science promotes the idea that illnesses (including cancer) can be 'cured' just by using the powers of positive thought.

I read the book "Many Lives, Many Masters" This helped solidify my idea that who we are is more than our "form" here as humans.

Not having a church, I'm very excited to be apart of the one here in my city. We are working to grow the church and that is awesome!
jimmer71 3 years ago
@feishtica I'm sure if you want, any Science of Mind church would send you CD,s of the classes and you could get credits for them too.
