I feel so connected to Marilyn Manson. I have never met him, never talked to him, never seen him at a concert... but I just feel after reading his book , buying his albums, reading his poems, watching his paintings, like I know him my whole life.. it's so special, and I hope more people will look at the man who is inside of him, and not to be scared of his looks.. he truly is an artist.
This is worlds above the album version. I hated the album version (though it was cool to hear Ginger Fish play piano), but this completely redeems the song for me.
The reason why the vocals on High End were occasionally less than desired, was that he recorded most of the songs in a single vocal take, 3 being the usual limit, and did it in 3 days. So really, it was simply a matter of it not having as much time invested. He still has a fantastic voice, especially for someone who has had such a self-abusive lifestyle. He's not the man he was twenty years ago, and that is fantastic. I don't want to hear ACSS repeated.

this album is great but as a fan I think you should be able to voice your opinion on weak points. Manson's last two albums (most don't complain about Holywood.) have been sub-par. this is a return to form.

The Alternate version is definitely better. This album is no Anitchrist but a huge improvement since the last few albums of complete shit. Still only maybe 5 good songs on there at best.
His voice sounds so much better without the effects. I dont' understand why he uses them.
