One lie the muslims keep saying is that the Quran say that the universe is expanding. Muslims are so manipulated here because first the Quran doesn't say that, it's a false translation (there are many different translations of this verse) and also because the Bible already says that in Job 9:8 which was written hundreds years before. After Prophet's death, Aisha was a teacher for the Muslims for many years and taught them Quran and Hadith. Did you focus on these things? Did you read that Aisha was mature (fertile) at time of her marriage to the Prophet? And that she was offered to the Prophet by his lifelong friend and companion? And His first wife was 40 y.o.?

We should distinguish bad actions of individuals and judge them apart from religion not a part of religion.

I gave partial quotes from both but should I assume the qur'an? The context for a husband to abuse his wife is that she has disobeyed him. Abuse is excused away to be the wife's own fault. That's the context.

Islam does not allow abuse of any human and even the scholars who believe a light beating (So light it does not cause pain or leave marks) is allowed say it is only mandated in extreme cases here the Islamic judicial proceedings have failed.

@Anotherexchristian If a Muslim woman disobeys her husband in something that's commanded her that is a 'right' thing according to Islamic religion, then if she is refusing to do what he says,it is first dealt with by the community?(judicial proceedings) As in others would try to get the disobedient woman to obey her husband? And then if that didn't do anything, then after that, her husband is given permission by Allah to lightly beat her, until she obeys? What if she continues to disobey?

In the time of the prophet Muhammad he commanded it to be limited but he did not ban it probably because the peace between Muslims and non-Muslims was very fragile and he knew this was deeply ingrained in pagan Arab culture.
