i think he plays this role much better there's something about his stiffness in the body that makes him more intimidating than when he's flaying his arms about in FOF, i dunno i guess its just more controlled therefore more chilling.

I love this song. But I like Nolan better as Don Dorcha. He has the attitude of a badguy and plays the role perfectly! This one is just... he's just there. He's just one of those dancers, nothing "Dark Lord" about him. Except the mask. The purple and silvery stuff in LotD isn't exactly... scary. (Or maybe that's what it is? XD)

@MelodiousArchangel ...This is Daire Nolan. This is the first version of LOTD, from ~97. He ramped it up a lot more for FOF 98, because he'd already been playing the role for a year and was more comfortable with it (he's extremely shy in real life, LOL!) I agree that this performance is a little lacking...I like him MUCH better in FOF.

@ProLentz123 I have to disagree with you on that. In "Lord of the Dance", Don Dorcha is played perfectly. He is acted out like a villan should be: dark and ice cold. In "feet of flames, he seems to be hyper, over excited, and at a few moments, a moron. He sort of overdid it. But then again, its only my opinion.

@UmbrellaFellow Actually, I thought villain was supposed to be a psycho. But I didn't really mean that. I was talking about the dance itself. In Feet of Flames it's more elegant, detailed, profound, it really has some meaning. Here it's just... a dance. Dancer's body positions in FoF (xD) are better, they really say something like "we're gonna light this place on fire". I don't say this performance is bad, I'm just saying that FoF is an improvement.

@Thowght Part of it, to me at least, is the dark colors of the costuming. The black and purple say Dark Lords better than the purple and silver to me. While I do like that Feet of Flames had more dancers, I pretty much agree that this is scarier.
