Idiot u can't just bomb people into submission. The US tried to bomb North Vietnam dropping more bombs on them then all bombs dropped in WW2. North Vietnam still won. Similar situation with the Korean war. You would need a million troops to subdue and hold all afghan cities and to patrol the countryside effectively. And then still a war of attrition would take place in that countryside. Eventually you'd still have to pull out after totaling the costs.
