  • I'd rather be in the bomb suit than shorts....

  • How many EOD guys have been through those physio/medics that started off on the run? Sure it gets lonely in Kyrgystan.

  • How to lose 50 lb. of body fat in one day while dying from a heat stroke... glorious...

  • Shazbot

  • The balls were heavier than the suits!

  • Lol Airforce, the Navy EOD could do it in the suit and the dive gear in better time.

  • @LeonTGBU grow up

  • @LeonTGBU Damn straight, i say that in a biased view though seeing how im joining the navy EOD haha

  • fuck yea for EOD

  • This is a challenge I want to take. I love running and you know runners, we always want the biggest and baddest challenge.

I'm guessing their time was maybe mid 20's.

  • hey look he sat down 1:13

  • I feel bad for the Juggernauts.

  • the only reason i clicked on this video is because i saw a juggernaut in the picture...

  • Just wait until they see a predator drone missile...all that work for nothing..

  • Damn, I can barely run a 5k by itself. I am really out of shape when it comes to running.

  • They should have had fireworks thrown at them while running :)

  • @surfboardseverywhere about 90lb

  • @surfboardseverywhere anywhere from 20-50kg. the new ones the mod use are only like 15kg but are triple the price and nearly 5x the protection.

  • @surfboardseverywhere well, an eod suitis about 70 lbs!!!!

  • @19barcakid more around 90

  • thumbs up for the hurt locker

  • wait a minute are all of eods the same ?? or do they have different jobs ??? im planing to join and idk what to do >.<HELP!!

  • @48tank yes eod itself is a job, different branches of military might do different missions, like navy eod works with navy seals and disarm naval sea mines or underwater explosives. Army and air force idk know as much, army may work with green berets not sure. but all 3 are crazy . have fun man hope I helped.

  • @tank44448888888 thanks bro

  • OMG they look like spartans.

  • you knoiw what sucks theeres a diffrence between juggernauts and bomb suits juggernauts look cooler and gives more protection bomb suits look like your fat and lazy but can give bobm protection oh and juggernauts get roit shields wow i have been Cod too much

  • @Drdeathmaster12 this isnt COD. this is real life. these men are running in honor of their fallen fellow EOD members. not running around aimlessly trying to get stupid "killstreaks"

  • @Soldier1287 buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt juggernuat look cooler ( bored)

yeah ur rite there running in honour to get our fat people skinny lol srry bomb suits just make me laugh

  • @Drdeathmaster12 Juggernaut suits aren't real.

  • @epicGhillie just w8 for a few years

  • @Drdeathmaster12 It still wouldn't be possible, it's would be too cumbersome.

  • @Drdeathmaster12 your english ggarmmer make sn o sense. That's basically what your grammar and spelling looked like.

  • @gamerguycod well sorry for rushing but still EOD BOMB suits marothon is fucking hard its like running with 200 pounds on your back

  • I tried that once. It's not the run that sucks the most(though it sucks a lot) but the lack of mobility, and if you fall, it's frackin' hard to get back up.

  • Sometimes I sneak up on my alarm clock when it’s sleeping and yell “How does it feel?”

  • Silly bitch! Im the Juggernaut!!!

  • damn at least its in the friggin winter, man must still be hot and sticky in there

  • can the EOD suits stop bullets? just wondering

  • @Gramercy72 if it can stop minor blasts yes it most likely would stop a round

  • @Gramercy72 Nope, maybe weak pistol bullets, but no.

  • well damn isn't SrA Horne a sexy man !!!!!! yummy

  • And of course it had to be the Air force. How about you do dom training. They treat their stuff like it a toy.

  • atleast there warm

  • Is it bulletproof?

  • Whew, at least they get to do it in the winter, just the pants in 90 degree heat sucks balls.

  • Can't wait to be in the army. :)

  • Put them in sumo suits then we'll talk.

    lol jk

  • Impressive. (darth vader voice)

  • I guess you'd have to do this in the middle of winter if you didn't want to get heat stroke.

  • 90 lbs

  • @LoganC210 You are the closest hah... it is about 80 in a medium and around 90 in a large. I was wearing a medium but I seriously doubt I would have noticed the extra 6-7lbs.

  • GO AIR FORCE!

  • how do they run 5k wearing those suits AND carrying the weight of their massive balls?

  • @WNCSuperNig Nah...LOL

  • @WNCSuperNig 5k isn't that much

  • @Darusdei Dude the Suits are extremly hot and heavy

  • @Darusdei That may be true but you forgot to factor in the bomb suits.

  • id rather run in those suits so i can have an excuse for getting tired after 5 miuntes

  • cross country for juggernauts

  • @driveby14000 to much call of duty huh ?

  • @driveby14000 go outside

  • Looks like fun cant wait to join good job eod!

  • Over all time? Kinda wanna know.

  • EOD dont fail...

  • 30kg

  • That had to suck ass

  • @Borderhopper48 for real

  • they should learn to sprint with these suits you know when you see you just failed to disarm a 1000LB bomb and have a 10 secs timer starting .

  • AAAHHH JUGGERNAUT

  • props to you guys and those you run for.

  • MARATHON PRO

  • It was kinda a weird thing!

    Go EOD!!

  • Awesome job guys! You make us all proud to be part of the EOD community.

Stay safe & keep your powder dry!

    HDS B-4-94 / Redstone Arsenal.

  • 5K IN A BOMB SUIT?!?!?!?!!? OMG

  • These suits weigh 30kg with the helmet on and they cost 18.000$ in case anybody were wondering.

  • I never comment on military videos with idiotic gaming associations, but is it just me or do this look like Obese Spartans running around?

  • imagine if they had to wear the helmets too hell at least they weren't cold

  • Thats nothing, try walking 5k every morning to bring food and water to your sick parents in China rural farm.

  • I absolutely love the tan one!!!

  • I dont want to be a jilljoy but aren't they putting unneeded wear and tear on the suits? Won't all the shock from the run compromise the ceramics and kevlar weaving in the gear?

  • @juki009 Really? The answer to that question is NO. Running in the suits causes absolutely no unnecssary wear & tear on these suits. The kevlar & ceramic inside the suits are designed to sustain small blasts from close range, so a little "shock" of bouncing up & down while running won't hurt them one bit. Nor does the cold. If it did, wouldn't kevlar helmets & body armor likewise be compromised during daily missions? And what about training? If the gear is that fragile, why use it?

  • @tntkop Give a 5 year old child a small pick and hammer, then give him enough time. He will be able turn the Empire State Building into rubble. Those "little shocks" add up.

There is a reason why some operators prefer steel plates over ceramic plates because they don't need to worry about the stresses that they put on it when hit the ground to get to cover.

Have you personally handled body armor? Have you seen the warning on the plates, particularly on the ceramic ones?

  • @juki009 Have I personally handled body armor? Wear body armor every day, have been an EOD tech 24yrs, wear bomb suits regularly in training & on ops, met w/ manufacturers of this particular suit (Med Eng), studied their test results & have spent over $90K for bomb suits for my unit, so I think that qualifies me. Re: the techs in this video, I doubt they had their ceramic plates in during the run. These could also be expired suits. So their integrity isnt compromised. Hope that helps clarify 4U

  • Comment removed

  • @juki009 Wanna know why ur comment was removed? U asked a question, which I answered. Then u asked if I have personally handled body armor & I answered THAT 4 u in detail b-cuz people like u have to be convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt. Then u question THAT answer. So we r all convinced ur just sheep who will never hold a candle to anyone in uniform, much less an EOD tech & fact is indisputable. Go back to ur safe little world & ur xbox. U will always be a sheep. Another indisputable fact.

  • @tntkop You sir, are full of yourself.

I personally removed that comment because I noticed a grammatical error that I overlooked. My parents and the government have paid too much for my education to have me writing sentences erroneously. Though I don't claim to be perfect when it comes to grammar, I try to be.

    Have a nice day sir.

  • @juki009 Sorry, u are way out of ur element & have no clue what' ur talking about. Its really that simple. I seriously doubt u have ever worn body armor, much less an EOD suit. And regarding "steel" plates, you absolutely, without a doubt, have no idea what you are talking about. Tech do not prefer steel over ceramic, ever. Period. I'd have you ask a tech, but you're talking to a tech & you're too dumb to accept facts. So go back to banging on building w/ your little rock hammer or go play xbox.

  • @tntkop You talk too much without actually saying anything. This is going to be my last comment here with you.

  • @juki009 Are you really Charlie Sheen in disguise?

  • I am a Proud American!

  • holy shit i cant run 5 km anyway, those men are beasty

  • @SKITTL3Z37 5k is really easy to run lol u are weak

  • @lvrpatriot01 you are probably 4 foot 5 and 115 pounds for all i know, stop trying to act cool on youtube

  • @SKITTL3Z37 wow, you suck.

  • @SKITTL3Z37

upwards of 50lbs. depending on all you have on/with you, can be over 100lbs

  • how long did it take

  • Wow awesome stuff! How heavy are those suits?

  • @shootingman99 you can't even walk normal in those things. ;)

  • @shootingman99 something around 30 kg i think

  • @shootingman99 thick and heavy enough to protect from medium close range explosions. lol

  • @VoLCoMzYaDiGG

    no, schrapnel

detonations waves come through(especialy the head)

the suit protects you but it is no insurance you survive a explosion

  • @drbable1 well i knew that to an extent nothing can really protect you from and explosion

  • @shootingman99

    75 - 80 pounds

  • @shootingman99

Around the ballpark of 85 lbs.

  • @shootingman99 30kg

  • @shootingman99 79-80+ pounds

  • @shootingman99 like 50-100 lbs! just makes those guys even more badass.. god bless them

  • @shootingman99 I think like 80 pounds

  • @shootingman99 80 pounds. so about 70 without the helmet

  • @shootingman99 80 pounds

  • @shootingman99

i thought they were about 80 pounds...

  • @shootingman99 Anything from 50 - 100 lbs

  • @chokkathunda94 I bet I just came from the exact same video you did, lawl

  • @TheDrunkenMantis The dancing Marine? No doubt, sickest man ;)

  • @shootingman99 got to be atleast 50 pounds.

  • @shootingman99 about 100 pounds give or take depending on the model and plates inside

  • wow, can you even feel the cold in that? haha

  • In the summer that would kill you...
