@comebackata2 Ellone was kidnapped, he went to save her. When he helped to defeat Adel, he was chosen as the President, and sent Ellone to remain with Raine, but she was pregnant and died in childbirth, giving birth to Squall. Later Ellone and Squall were sent to Edea's Orphanage, and Laguna never knew of his son until he met him personally. When you talk to him in Ragnarok, near the end of Disk 3, he will say he has something important to tell him, but will say after the mission. Guess what?

Rinoa wasn't Ultimecia, Ultimecia possesed Rinoa and then she became a sorceress but at the end Rinoa and Squall were (finally) be able to stay together. Squall is not dead.
