It blows my mind how CLUELESS the media and the public in general still is about this Michigan State basketball program. Since 1998, this program has made the tournament EVERY year, has won five Big Ten Titles, been to five (yes FIVE) Final Fours and won a national championship. Yet after all of this RIDICULOUS success, so many people still just don't realize that yes, this IS one of the best basketball programs in the country. Over the last 10 years, a top 3 program AT A MINIMUM.

But when he went on to introduce his evidence to support his position, his position didn't look so crazy after all.

i dont really think anyone can say anything about state. they were NOT projected to go to the final four. diger phelps had them losing to usc, kansas and louisville...and we beat the odds. msu helped detroit so much by making it o the final four and even though they got blown out by unc(which i think if any team played the way state did, and unc played how they did, no one even had a shot) it doesnt matter. finishing second in all the nation is pretty damn good
