This is actually comical.....they never left earths orbit....."the surface of the Moon is amazingly very simular to the surface in the American south west"...hummm....can everyone say "area 51"....lol...craters, movie studios and everything needed to "beat the Russians to the Moon.....right...(on film anyway) !?!?!?

Hilarius story. This Interview is the best comedy ever.And it's certainly the center of the lowest point in the history of USA,but look at the faces of the other two when he says "a lot closer to home"...lol!

It's so painfully obvious that much of the equipment used for 'simulations' were actually used for the staging of the films, and photos. The fake moons, huge crane, solar simulator (spotlight/sun), LEM set. I'd be completely shocked that people don't see this, but I remember the old, patriotic, those guys are nuts me. Once you look at all the factors which could kill you, you might even fake it. Death or lie? Choose!
