For all guys who want 2 ask if the keyboard turns sideways if u turn the phone NO but you can install a small programm and then it works it's easy to install!

I have recently come over some software that can be installed on HTC touch diamond that allows you to text sideways qwerty keyboard. I have no use for this because I am left handed and it is very hard to text with left hand using this interface. If you are a right handed user who wants to type sideways while texting send me a message on my youtube account. It is a cab file that is very easy to install on your HTC.

It only turns when you're using the web browser, not when you're texting.

Nice video for texting. I believe the keyboard will help with texting. On my website I offer online texting for anyone to use. Just click my profile and go to sms text tab to see you can create a list of friends and text to someone voicemail.

the iphone touchscreen is obviously capacitive due to its multi-touch capabilites and good responsiveness (and no stylus aswell)

This phone is the coolest WM6 phone I ever saw. However, the way that coverflow 3D degrades to plain old WM6 when replying to a text message reminds me a lot of relationship Windows 3.11 and MS DOS had. I hope WM7 will be better.

Just so everyone knows, two versions of this phone will be released, the second being the HTC Raphael, which will be this phone with a QWERTY slide-out keyboard. I'm holding out for that in September or November I believe.

I really don't like all-screen devices, but I have to point out that after seeing this video, there is NO REASON to buy this over an iPhone.

It is slow, sluggish and non-responsive in comparison to Apple's handset. And this is before all the 3rd party applications get installed and fill up the memory.

I guess it's back to the HTC Dream vs iPhone 3G vs Xperia X1

A year from now, when the hardware juice is available, the HTC Diamond sequel running WM7 will be a true marvelous work of art.

The HTC Touch can support/run Windows Mobile 6.1. It's most likely the US version that's going to be sold at Best Buy will run 6.1. However, HTC has confirmed that TouchFLO 3D is only on the Diamond and future handsets. Previous hardware simply doesn't have the juice to run it.
