Taking it to another plane...I am an insurance broker (ex) and let me tell you that this little gig was going to create one hell of a claim to handle...and the adjusters and the underwriters and the entire staffs of all involved insurance companies (provided that the cycle operator had some sort of personal legal liability insurance_and the TV station making money on this had coverage, went nuts.

@csg8654 This is an oddity in the sport. This bike has to knock off better than a second and increase speed by 20mph to compete with the fuel power Pro Stock Bikes. You say their days are numbers, I beg to differ. People who drag race these rockets have it in there blood and it's called HIGH OCTANE. Compare apples to apples by power to weight ratios the electric has a very long road to hoe to become mainstream in the Drag Racing circles. Sorry but it true.
