What do you use for the other 6 strings?

@pissed7off For the 1st through 5th strings on my guitar, I use the heavy five strings of a standard .010-.046 set. So my first string is a .013, my second is a .017, etc. The 6th string is a single .056 gauge string.

hey men you play very good, your guitar is a Washburn WG587 it's an awesome guitar, I have the same but with Floyd Rose (WG587V), I can't put that string in my guitar, damn! I will try with my other seven string, it's a Squier Stratocaster VII, please give your advice how do you get that string or you bougth a 8 string set? please help me! I will Apreciate!

As you know, Meshuggah uses 8-string Ibanez custom guitars. I only have a 7-string guitar. Therefore, I omit the 1st, smallest string from my tuning, and use strings 2-8 to play Meshuggah material.

My biggest string is a custom .074" gauge string. I bought a set of singles from Musician's Friend - there is no larger gauge string sold for guitars. I once had a .075" bass string for my low F, but the ball end was too big and stuck out of my tail piece.
