Even if you could travel at the speed of light it would take 100,000 years to travel from end to end of our own galaxy which by the way has over 100 billion starts... So your whole theory of travelling to other galaxies in months at the speed of light is out the window.

light cannot be bent! arghhhh. its like if i throw you at a wall from an angle you wont bounce streight back at me, you will leave at the angle you entered. in this sense light can be thought of as a particle not a wave. you are thinking of it as some sort of continuous stream. wtf.

omg LIGHT DOESNT BEND!. a black hole doesnt allow light to escape due to GRAVITY!!! in this sense as i have said before light can be thought of a particle with miniscule mass, thats why it takes the strongest known sorce of energy to prevent its advance thru space.

OMG !!!!!!!!! LIGHT DOESNT BEND, its called refraction, you can change the trajectory of something without bending it u kno. Does a car have to bend to alter its trajectory? erm, no.
what you are stating is the same theory as fibre obtics, total internal refraction, that sorta shit. howd u think you can recieve radio signal over a hill? the radiowaves dont bend over the hill they reflect/refract off the sky.

additionally, that sodium vapor was a BEC and this causes a photon to be travel very short distances between being absorbed and re-emitted. This effectively slows down the photon to like 35 mph. However, between those absorptions and re-emissions, it is travelling at c.
