  • X***D

  • try point it at your eye that would be cool

  • my friend claims that laser guns in real life cant be like little bolts like we see in star wars they'd all be one straight beam from gun to target, is this correct?

  • does the power on your finger hurt?

  • @XCHILLBOY

    Yes, it stings a little!

  • touch it!

  • These are the toys of the children of Tesla troopers from red alert 2

  • a gun that cant kill you, hmmmm why you call this a gun?

  • @westwing23 the thing is galled a gun because it "shoots" ions, ionizing air and producing what u saw above. anything that propels something small (i.g. bullets, water, air, photons, ions) can be considered a gun. a cannon is just a huge gun

  • I think by pointing it on someone and shooting for at least 10 mins his head will explode. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz SPLACH lol

  • what happens if u point it at some1

  • I thought you were gonna make the light bulb turn on with that thing like the guy from the Wolverine movie Now that would have been cool

  • naee'ce!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks like a raygun

  • Thumbs up if you got here from fallout3 or thought it was the fallout 3 plasma rifle replica

  • NASTY STUFF !!!!!!!!! :-)

  • is a tesla coil gun

  • @92jacko glock now make pistols out of plastic so not a metal tube

  • Check our web site for parts and build instructions. (PS: New bigger version coming soon)

  • Gun A weapon consisting of a metal tube from which a projectile is fired at high velocity into a relatively flat trajectory.

  • @92jacko

Pedant: A person who is excessively concerned with formalism and precision, or who makes a show of their learning.

  • @rmcybernetics owned

  • @rmcybernetics AWESOME COMEBACK!!!! Touche!

  • @rmcybernetics Actually, he most likely just wanted people to think he is cool but he just looked it up in the dictionary

  • @92jacko Words change their meaning over time. I'm sure one or more pedants also told Karl Benz that what he built was not a car because they defined "car" as "a horse-drawn vehicle for human transportation".

  • @92jacko so laser guns and light guns and sound guns are impossible :(

  • @Sc0ttPrian

    Umm, nope.

  • ARE YOU A WIZARD?

  • I was expecting a big BOOMWUSHTHINGY!!!!

    Cheap ripoff >.>

  • how do you build it

  • Thats Fake

  • ISNT PLASMA...just a tesla xD

  • mmmmmhhhhhhhhhm tesla s work ! xD

  • Teslagenerator?

  • very nice! XD

  • If you manage to make that thing more powerful, could I have one?

  • This has nothing to do with plasma, it is simply a tesla coil. at no point in this video do you see plasma.

  • @SleepyMongoose

The glowing purple streaks are plasma filaments. Tesla coils ionise air to produce streaks of plasma.

  • @rmcybernetics I thought this was really cool. Unfortunately, and this happens primarily on youtube, people aren't even impressed with something as cool as this and try to be douchebags about it. Awesome vid, tho :D

  • @rmcybernetics WTF I THOUGHT THAT WAS ELECTRICITY??!! please explain i don't know shit about tesla coils but i could have sworn the purple streaks was electricity and a very high velocity.

  • @whatuwantmom

What you see is not electricity its self, but is the effect of high frequency, high voltage electricity on the air and gas in the bulb.

  • @SleepyMongoose you got owned

  • @SleepyMongoose the title says plasma gun??

  • @SleepyMongoose As rmcybernetics says, the tesla coil is ionizing surrounding air into plasma. The purplish filaments inside the light bulb are plasma. Incandescent light bulbs are usually filled with argon gas. The argon is ionized, producing a plasma filaments.

  • Watch he tazes somebody with it. XD

  • I am very freaking ignorant and very f*cking scared of that thing, I will never ever touch it even if I see you do it. lol!

  • We can finally combat the covenant with it lol

  • now touch it

  • dear santa

  • Not plasma gun... tesla coil

  • U Sure Thats A Plasma Gun :P

  • a small one like that cant really harm humans but it can demonstrate the function of alternate current that was discovered by Nikola Tesla as a way of transmitting energy wirelessly its the same thing you see in plasma balls if it were a larger one with a stronger power source it could cause painful bone deep RF burns

  • epic!

  • dear santa.... :D

  • the telsa cannon is real... fallout 3 will happen after all

  • OH WHY DONT WE SEE THE FALLOUT BLODY MESS VERSION

  • @ShyDream3r Did you hit you´re self in the balls? If so why >.<

  • 0:21 lol he shot his finger XD

  • Warehouse 13 :) yah baby

  • Its nice to see that its harmless.

  • how can i make this gun?

  • Halo??

  • @ShyDream3r that's why they wear those lab coats :L

  • Didn't that hurt or something?

  • Hey kid , ill buy that for 500$ , if it can shoot at 20 Meters

  • does the lightbulb still work?

  • mommy???where ARE YOU!!! HELP MEEEEEE AHHHHHH

  • Tesla was able to transmit electricity underground form up tonone mile away

  • i call it

    the sterilizer!

  • i want one

  • @SuperWhiteMexican o yaaaa me too

  • is this just the thing inside the plasma ball?

  • wha???? wheres part when that thing shot some crazy blue balls and kill people ?

  • @Buksnas The real plasma of the real world is just a sort of blue thunder and its not mortal.

  • I have the plans for this if anyone wants one. Its called a Ray Gun......

  • Bad dialup...

  • Its called a tesla coil for all of you who are not familiar

  • They had this the whole time there was at least a dozen situations when we could hav used this.

  • @Npanagakis

    haha lost planet

  • it is called "tesla coil", and its a very old invention

  • This man now has every single type of cancer known to man. lol, this stuff is awesome!

  • @SirCrapsAlotTheThird Nonono, first it does that, but then it kills the cancer, rinse and repeat, over time he will look like Jabba the Hutt

  • @ShyDream3r

Oh, is that how ya do it?

    hahaha, Win.

  • are there realy plasma guns that can shoot and kill plp??

  • @megamonster17 Yes, on Halo.

  • @megamonster17 *facepalm*

  • @megamonster17 Possibly there is a secret military project involving one...

  • @MindOFMadness1 its not secret no more...

  • @megamonster17 yeah ive seen some on eBay there really cheap go look and buy for urself

  • wooooooooow

  • I want one!

  • OMG now i know why our race thousand yrs could be the alien going to 300 million k/km broking gravity

  • its only mini tesla coil :)

  • is that 'professor' wearing a nike jumper? hehe

  • Nawet fajne, tylko ździebko malutka ta cewka.

  • it won't hurt any people, but it's really cool ^^

  • The military version is horrific. They only show you the easy version. The technology that is released to the public is always 25+ years old. Its never new. In other words, they stay 25 years + ahead of projects, weapons, technology that is released.

  • @tgambill

so true, I saw the craziest lookin military fighter in Nevada, but it looked like nothing out today. My Father also worked for the DOD and said that what they say is new and cutting edge now, was being developed 25-30 years ago. So pretty much the F22 is already a Dinosaur.

  • My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND, which is the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. Markus Bott was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well.

    Martin Bott

  • Where can I buy one?

  • what would happen if you shot that at a person???

  • @drumstick9000 they would probably get burned...

  • @drumstick9000 Taser?

  • @drumstick9000 Absolutley nothing

  • @drumstick9000 One big nothing...there was experiment with huge versin of this device and all effects were static electricity in hair...

@PaintSniffer07 I belive it's toooo small for tezer, cuz like i said to drumstick, even huge version of this couldn't tase scientist (or mythbuster ;D)...

  • @drumstick9000 you would die lol

  • @drumstick9000 they would probably be unable to reproduce like what ShyDream3r said.

  • @drumstick9000 theyll look at you and laugh and shoot you with a real gun,lol jk

  • @drumstick9000 he shot it at his finger !

  • @drumstick9000 He aimed it at his finger noob.

  • @drumstick9000 Nothing.

  • @drumstick9000 try it, and you would see what happens ....

  • @drumstick9000

not much ,otherwise he wouldnt hold it that way ,einstein.

    lol

  • @drumstick9000 Epic against zombies

  • @drumstick9000 it doesnt shoot

  • @drumstick9000 nothing really

  • @drumstick9000 Needs moar powa!!!

  • @drumstick9000 Ugh......

It will extract or create so much plasma in humans blood that human could survive about 5 minutes after that shock !!!

  • @drumstick9000 it shows him doing it to his finger. the answer is nothing . . .

  • @drumstick9000 Depends how much power is going into it, however that is simple a tesla coil it should not be able to kill, however it could cause nerve and cell damage.

  • @drumstick9000 Not much unless you touched them with it.

  • @drumstick9000

Nothing, I guess. He shot it at his finger. It is obviously a very weak coil.

  • ha!

i like the idea of a hand held tesla coil...screw up the appliances of pep around u in a subway or any crouded area! I need 1 of those

  • wonder what that would do to people? hmm

  • yay a light bulb!

    lulz

  • you can generate allot of electricity so that

when you turn it on the plasma or electro

blue lightning matter can touch other surface around it from far distances, wich will result in complete burns or maybe resulting in exploding the matter it touches into smaller particles.

    im just a noob

  • that is not a gun, but a device that allows the gasses inside the globe to become excited which creates light.

  • witch IS plasma dip shit

  • @GotsdeFlavor

Don't call someone a dip shit when you can't spell words correctly.

    Dumb ass.

  • its nice but it aint a gun :l

  • aaahhhhhh so thats how that funny glass bulbs work

  • you are most likely making xrays use caution

  • the fields coming off that thing are prob sooo bad for u

  • thats pretty tight

  • Looks more like a tesla coil to me Oo .

  • god damn dude, you take one of those ang give it like 20,000 volts and you could have one of those guns from D-9!!!!

  • let a baby play with the taser. let a baby play with it and see what happens!!!

  • little words for photon: you have no idea what your talking about. Yes, there are no forces in space, except of course the gravity of large masses (ie planets) and in theory, repeat, in THEORY you could go as fast as you want. but we cannot pysically go past light speed because otherwise time and physics would not work correctly.

DiabloicTut0r: feel free to correct me if i am wrong. I'm still only in third year secondary school and I've only got a basic grasp of this at the moment :)

  • Dark matter not to mention the fact that space has a higher temperature than would be expected if nothing was there.

  • What's the frequence!

  • Photon..you are full of sht.end of story.i have 2 degrees one in physics. Please for the love of God be quite because some of these other idiots are going to believe you.thanks

  • in our universe, when there is nothing to stop a mass from doing what it is already doing, it will continue to do it for ever. This is why if we continue to add speed of an object in zero gravity, the object will continue to increase its speed. only problem with this, is it takes a while to speed up and slow down, unless of course you wish to screech to a halt, and perhaps, die of brain trauma.

  • Cool! I always wanted to know what plasma and EMP and light bulds physics can be like ITS COOL to see stuff like that i gave it 5/5 stars!

  • 0.o of course light bends lmao, anyone with any basic physics knowledge knows that. ever seen a prisim make colour?

  • examples of bending light:

    Polarization

    Refraction

    Reflection

  • Science 101 lights speed changes upon refraction meaning it is bent by x degrees and then straitened again by x degrees upon leaving that thing. Look at your feet next time you are ankle deep in the water, they dont look like they are connected because of this principle.

  • are you mad???? thats more like science 864

  • the enclave is way ahead of you, noob

  • That plasma gun looks nothing like the one in halo

  • lmao

  • @dclaver2 lol

  • dclaver2:

    DUH!!!

  • totally awesome dude!!!

  • This is not to be confused with the PEP (Pulsed Energy Projectile) now under development by the US gov.

    aka Rail Gun

  • PEP and rail gun are not the same thing. rail guns use an electromagnetic force to propel an object. PEP is an invisible laser meant for stunning and disabling a target. but yes, the US military is developing both

  • Use this to create free wireless power! Now everyone can go to Starbucks and use WiPow! It would be quite a shocking experience.

  • too bad it doesnt work like that

  • Low levels of nitrogen in a glass bottle with that toy could be interesting lol...

Tesla made a compass that shows True north in Zero gravity and made parts for Man Made UFO for the government testings in the war...One of these devices has defied phisics and can make a aircraft move at speeds near to light and make 90 degree turns that appear to defy both gravity and what we know as physics today...There are subtle nuances that can tear the "reality" of the laws that bind all things with carbon

  • I really doubt that they have come up with an aircraft that is even close to traveling speeds of 150,000 miles per second

  • The Tesla Parallels

  • science fiction

  • try documentary bro ;)

Watch this snag a torrent then tell me what you think when you SEE IT!

  • fastest recorded object is some US spacecraft that is supposed to be getting to pluto by 2014 i think. i think it reached about 1/5 the speed of light. look up "new horizons" its a nasa project.

i wouldnt be surprised if we had the technology to go faster than this

  • Well, think about it....how close are we really to traveling from the U.S. to Europe in a fraction of a second? It just seems to me that we are far from doing so.

  • well traveling in space is much diffrent than in the atmosphere

in space almmost no fricktion by air thus go as fast as you want

on earth air friction , you go too fast you melt

  • If they can go as fast as they want, then why don't they travel to other planets in minutes? Why don't they fly to another galaxies in months? Why? because they can't reach the speed of light. We don't have that kind of advancements in technology yet.

  • don't take it so literaly

as fast as you want as in as fast as you can go in space with our current chemical engines.....

in theory, if we approve tachyon particles we can move as fast as we want .... im not going to give a full wikipedia lecture on what tachyon particles are but they are still not approved, google it :)

  • Even if you could travel at the speed of light it would take 100,000 years to travel from end to end of our own galaxy which by the way has over 100 billion starts... So your whole theory of travelling to other galaxies in months at the speed of light is out the window.

  • It's called the space shuttle.

  • A space shuttle doesn't even compare to how fast the speed of light is, space shuttle: 20,000mph.....speed of light:150,000mps.

  • @66familyguy66 speed of light isnt a constant :) light can be slowed down

  • how can it be slowed down? there is only one thing, the gravitational pull of a BLACK HOLE!

  • A refractor can change the speed of light can't it?

  • it just bends it to suit the application

  • light cannot be bent! arghhhh. its like if i throw you at a wall from an angle you wont bounce streight back at me, you will leave at the angle you entered. in this sense light can be thought of as a particle not a wave. you are thinking of it as some sort of continuous stream. wtf.

  • light can too be bent, thats what black holes do

  • omg LIGHT DOESNT BEND!. a black hole doesnt allow light to escape due to GRAVITY!!! in this sense as i have said before light can be thought of a particle with miniscule mass, thats why it takes the strongest known sorce of energy to prevent its advance thru space.

  • they confirmed predictions of general relativity by watching light bend around large cosmological masses.

you might want to pick up an introductory textbook on the subject.

  • OMG !!!!!!!!! LIGHT DOESNT BEND, its called refraction, you can change the trajectory of something without bending it u kno. Does a car have to bend to alter its trajectory? erm, no.

what you are stating is the same theory as fibre obtics, total internal refraction, that sorta shit. howd u think you can recieve radio signal over a hill? the radiowaves dont bend over the hill they reflect/refract off the sky.

  • additionally, that sodium vapor was a BEC and this causes a photon to be travel very short distances between being absorbed and re-emitted. This effectively slows down the photon to like 35 mph. However, between those absorptions and re-emissions, it is travelling at c.

  • @bitethebu11et sounds like no slow down. Slow down is a illusion then, brilliant!
