Hi - Great Video! I have lots of 16mm (H0) gauge track at home, and I am looking into buying a working model for it. The only company I can find that does gauges that small are Hielscher - and they are really expensive! Do you know of anywhere else that sells trains that small?
@jabingdon - Thanks for the comment - glad you like it! Hornby did a live steam mainline loco for HO/00 gauge track. It used a powerful current from the track to boil the water. I am not sure if they still make it. I am afraid I do not know any others. A different approach would be to sell the track on Ebay and start again in 16mm scale or G scale.......
Yes - I think it is quite a lot off beat - but then she is 26 years old and it adds to the character. She runs so slowly and steadily that I don't want to interfere with her valve timing.
Thanks Mark and Andy - though the long chimney pipe helps a lot. It is essentially the same as on katie but the acoustics are much better on the fabricated smokebox and long chimney tube.
