  • @Eedwart2007 buy a bar dip is about 30 to 80 dollars but buy the heavy duty one or if you have acess to a school playground where there are bars like parallel bars hope this help.

  • @Eedwart2007 pull 2 reasonably heavy chairs close together and back to back then dip in the gap, it's what I do.

  • @bajobaritonoAH I know. at 13 202lbs i always pause at the bottom and go down as low as possible. people talk smack about joint crap....ive done it for years and no pain or discomfort whatsoever! PERFECT FORM FTW!!! XD :)

  • No, It will only firm and make the muscle below them bigger. Your man boobs will still be jiggly on top of the muscle and appear bigger. You need to do cardio.

  • i always have problems benching and it just feels unnatural....seriously considering replacing benching with dipping, any opinions? i really hope they still work the delts and overall "push" muscles

  • you can replace benching with pushups and have plates on your back if the benching feels unnatural

  • I bet you've never even done a single dip before. WAY Harder than pushups. I can do 20 pushups, but i can barely do 7 dips.

  • i was just trying to give an example. Yes you just made my point more clear, dips are a whole lot harder to do than pushups.

  • I can do about 50 pushups and around 20 dips for some reason. I go very far down as well, sometimes to the point to where my elbows are above my shoulders. Though my pushups are very slow. About 1 pushup every 3 seconds.

  • not at all. with dips you are lifting 100% of your bodyweight. with pushups, it's not that much. pushups are too easy. dips are a lot harder and better

  • pushups are approx. the same as benching 75% of your body weight, jsut thought i'd throw that out there lol

  • Compound exercises and high intensity sprints will give you the physique women die for.

  • cardio isn't necessary though, you could maintain a low bodyfat through proper dieting but it will help

  • More like 1/2 - 2/3 body weight tops. I way 90kg, and did pressups on a set of bathroom scales. The weight fluctuated between 50-60kg.

    i don't think so. I weight 170 and can do a lot of push-ups, but can barely press 130.
