I get a kick how people act in front of these guys. They think because these guys have billions they are the smartest people on the planet and know everything about everything. Give me a break. Buffet knows about investing in stocks and gates knows about software. That's it. Other than that they arn't any smarter about anything else than "ordinary" people. Asking about energy and all this stuff to these guys is a joke!

sir..you are totally missing my point i DO NOT worship celebrities.i respect their insight and foresight. and yes they have more knowledge and resources than you and i. I don't hang on every word they say. I take it at face value and make my decision. Just like Obama is the commander in chief even though he has never fought a war. He gets advised by the military and he makes a decision. I respect their advice but i NEITHER LIVE BY IT NOR HANG ON IT

There are some, maybe not you who believe guys like this are the sole expert on everything if they provide an opinion about something. If you do not fall into this category, then my comments are not about you.

The questions from the students were so sad and uninteresting. They had 1 trillion sitting in front of them and they asked the questions that have been asked hundreds of times already. A very poor showing for MBAs from Columbia, Buffetts wit is the only thing that saved it from total failure.
