Steve, As you very very well know, when we spoke, I had met Gil Seton in Mexico with John Huston years back in Cuernavaca and I am positive, John Huston KNEW about the Hodel perversities and approved of most all of them! AND partook in many a night's oddness! CH
Yes, all the evidence points to John Huston knowing about dad's crime(s). I queried Celeste Huston some years back to see if he ever mentioned anything to her, and though he didn't to her, Celeste indicated that Huston's longtime secretary, Gladys Hill was regularly talking about a murder that John knew about back then, but Celeste had no specifics. I will be presenting some dramatic new John Huston linkage in my new book, BDA II, soon to publish.
@SteveHodelauthor I am dying to read this one..oh, do get the newest book on JH.. john huston courage and art by jeffrey meyers..do not miss this one!
in my humble opinion, this atrocity is an act of 2 or even more people, cos is too morbid to the imagination of one person... after see so many evidence and read things i grieve with Mr. Hodel that his father could be the murderer but with anyone else... maybe his secretary or another person with distorted mind like George... to me see this case has been obssesing, how this morbid act still unsolved till today???
All of the knife info came from witness/house tenant Joe Barrett. It was included simply so that we could compare his info to the evidence knife in LAPD custody on the Kern murder. At that time I had no idea that "all the evidence had disappeared" and believed LAPD would make the comparison and simply rule it IN or OUT. At this time, some nine-years later, I give little credence and weight to the knife evidence, since it cannot be compared.
@SteveHodelauthor By the way, I think a best seller and a fascinating book would be your sister's and your brother and your life living in this everyday life of the elite people you experienced growing up, the parties, the stars, the models, the parties. I would love to read about that. What time did they put you to bed? Did they hide all the decadence during this time. It's entirely completely and fascinating to me.
You do have some contradictions on the knife...In your book, you say that your brother had lost his life, and you insinuate that your dad might have used your brother's knife. Can you elaborate?
My opinion is that "Ed Burns" is a fantasy. The name never appears in any official reports or ever linked to the Dahlia investigation. The strip photo picture represented to be "Ed Burns" is NOT. That individual has been identified and eliminated by the LAPD and I personally interviewed him as summarized in my updated BDA chapter. He was not in L.A. and only met Elizabeth Short for a few hours in Indianapolis.
when we most able to see a film more cientific about this case?, it would be very appreciated... the others just let you with more doubts even

i don`t believe that Hodel was the Zodiac killer, this doesn`t match...
rikyto6153108 3 weeks ago
Same as Ed Burns. Part of the myth making and runaway legends. Nothing based in any legitimate fact.

and your opinion about Bugsy Siegel ??

@rikyto6153108
Same as Ed Burns. No evidence from any official source to connect Siegel to the murder in anyway. Just part of the runaway myths.

@SteveHodelauthor But your book "The Avenger" talks about a conversation you had with your brother about this knife if I'm not mistaken.
