  • RUN BAMBI RUN

  • "It's those dumb horror flix!" "Those crummy movies gave you bad dreams" "You'll have nightmares looking at all junk!"

That's what I call the new Muppets film. "crummy, dumb, and junk"

  • The friday the 13th theme at the beginning

  • Awwwwwwwwww, poor Plucky.

  • The animation for this Tiny Toon Adventures episode is the same as "A Pup Named Scooby - Doo"

  • 3:54 Eddy Cougar's glove is missing

  • @BRRGames

    Great Observation.

  • I remember watching this one as a kid I loved it. Great Freddy Krueger parody.

  • Eddie couger looks like a lion n the his glove, HE DOESN'T NEED THE GLOVE, HE HAS CLAWS WAT THA FUCK

  • 0:30 freddy "cougar" XD

  • One of my all time favorite episodes

  • 3:38 Seem Familiar?

  • Eddy Cougar > Freddy Krueger

  • lmao at the screaming deer

  • DUCK!! BED!! NOW!!

  • This show had so many great references of popular culture, and its fun to look back now and understand the ones you missed, like I didn't know it was Elm St aft first, never seeing those movies

  • You've got to love Plucky.

  • Omg out of all of the Tiny Toon eps, this is the only one I remember, for the soul-fact that they parody Freddy.

    Thanks for posting this!! :DD

  • I remember my little brother running under the bed screaming during this episode and I never saw the end, thx for uploading

  • I always thought the deer screamed weird

  • Freddy is supposed to be afraid of fire, so why would he light a match?? Haha I never had any nightmares from horror movies except when I was little like when I watched Jeepers Creepers 2

  • @Bellefille62394 Hate To Break it to ya...

    But THAT'S NOT FREDDY KROUGAR...

    THAT'S EDDY CROUGAR, HE'S A SPIN-OFF TO FREDDY...

  • @AmricanGir Actually, the correct term is a "parody" of Freddy Krueger.

  • @Bellefille62394 Freddy's not afraid of fire. He was killed by fire, yes, but he uses it as his element. He might be afraid of it in the real world, but no more than anyone would be.

  • LMAO that deer was freaking out

  • I remember this! Take my advice: Never watch this with "Are you Afraid of the Dark" on the same day.

    2:04-2:05 The music, CREEEEPY!

    5:04 Nightmare prone!

  • It was Dennis McCarthy who did the music for the "Best 'o Plucky Duck Day" trilogy..and Citizen Max too.

  • I know who did the music for this short, IF anyone's Interested.

  • @Gardner1701 I'm interested, come on tell us

  • Eddy Cougar says a line in Nightmare 4 when Kirsten congers up Alice in the nightmare and Alice finally meets Freddy. "How sweet Fresh Meat." Plus the jason Kill her Ma is playing. How sweet of them to acknowledge thee horror guys.

  • you mean freddy from nightmare on elm street

  • 2:46 i would die if i saw something like that during the night!!

  • Plucky: I almost forgot we still have 12 hours before we have to return these tapes we can watch them all over again

    (Buster goes insane)

    lol

Also wasn't that the Friday the 13th Theme not A Nightmare on Elm Street???

  • Is it just me or did the kid with the black hair remind anyone of PeeWee Herman?

  • As a director/producer of Tiny Toons and Animanics I really appreciate this. thanks! The only thing bugging me is that the writing and directing credits have been removed from the title card, but thankfully they are on the DVD version.

  • I feel bad for the poor deer lolz

  • I love the deer's scream. XD

  • Sheesh, some people don't appreciate fine cinema!

  • Dial M for mother in law

  • Dang! Plucky Duck! Gimme some of that weed too!

  • I love Plucky Duck he was my favorite

  • Love it

  • Lol@2:00 So funny how the monsters pop right up when the lights go out. XD

  • I love this ^^ , thx for uploading ;) Freddy Cougar xD and even jason's ch ch ch ah ah ah

  • Lol! Eddie Cougar.

  • omg someone finally uploaded this. I loved eddie cougar !

  • Some are saying that Charlie Adler voiced Eddy Cougar while it almost sounds like Frank Welker voiced the character. What do you think?

  • @Rtkat3 Sounds to me like it's Frank Welker, with a G-Major filter over his voice. :)

  • @Greatsaiyakirby I'm sure it was Charlie Adler with some reverb effect added

  • @Rtkat3

No kidding. He almost sounds like Dr. Viper only wihtout the hissing.

  • Eddy Cougar: 'How sweet...fresh meat." LOL!

  • Gotta love Spielberg: poked fun of every politician from Jimmy Carter to Bill Clinton, plus perhaps everything in pop culture.

  • When I first watched this, I knew nothing of Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th. Suddenly those Eddy Cougar scenes make sense.

  • @Vegnas same can be said for parodies in general

  • @Vegnas Yeah, me too!

  • Comment removed

  • This is like I am Legend?.

  • 4:58....now THAT was hilarious!

  • [The Super Hero Squad are crawling on sand as if they're stranded in a desert]

IRON MAN: W-W-W-W-Water! [sand comes out of his mouth]

    WOLVERINE: H2O, please bub.

    HULK: Gravy.

IRON MAN: WE frying. [All three Squaddies collapse] The fat lady just sang, boys.

HULK: HULK's life is flashing before my eyes.

    IRON MAN: What life?

  • ed edd and eddy referance

  • A Jason and Freddie reference in a kids' cartoon?

  • Tiny Toons was for adults as much as it was for kids, In this politically correct world, Tiny Toons will remain one of the best cartoons of all time

  • @xCmOn3yx2 before you are so sure, have you seen spielburg's other shows such as animaniacs?

  • @InvaderWakko Yes I have, I love Tiny Toons. Buster is one of the best cartoon characters of all time and really made the show

  • one of the best episodes ever

  • ok stop at 0:38

  • Plucky : only a total idiot would scared of these movies

    Buster: i rest my case

    XD

  • lol when he went into the movies and at 5:03

  • lol every time he turns off the light a monster apears

  • When I was little, I remember this scaring the holy God out of me (but the real Freddy Krueger never did, funny huh?)

I, falsely I guess, remember this being darker.

  • Well Freddy is a ghost so all you need to do to get rid of him is call the Ghostbusters. Funny as that sounds, thats the main reason I was never afriad of Freddy either.

  • He's one hell of a ghost! I hope I never meet a ghost like Freddy (I have seen ghosts before, honest.)

  • lol cool Fred Krueger XD

  • it's taken spoof of my favorite horror movie. even i've enjoyed it. at least not to the other classic horror movies for the whole episode.

  • WOW this was hilarious & evn made me a bit jumpy, but I still laughed out loud. Love it!

  • omg this is fucking genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a laugh.... Freddy parody but with Jason's theme at the beginning.... WB do know how to make funny inconsistencies. lol

  • That deer's scream kills me everytime.

    NYAAHHHHH-AH-AH-AH-AH-AH!

  • lol the JAWS parody; now that's fine cinema!

  • 0:32-0:34

Yeah, that's definitely a parody of Freddy Krueger. I like it. I didn't actually knew that one of my favorite villains was spoofed in Tony Toons.

  • watching 2 much scary movies can give u nightmares

  • wow thats too gross

    this ones even grosser!

    LOL

  • I remember this episode. I like it when the Frankenstein shows Plucky it's brain!

  • It's Frankenstein's MONSTER.

  • "Only a roral idiot would be cared of these movies!:"

    "I rest my case.:"

  • its

"Only a total idiot would be scared of these movies"

  • I knew that just sometimes the keys stick

  • 1:22 the screaming lady lol

  • HA CH CH CH CHAAAAAAA

  • 1:02 Dial M for... what? I can't read it, its probarly something hilarious.

  • its called dial m for murder

  • Comment removed

  • @cegadecow -- It's "Dial M For Mother-In-Law". LOL!

  • since when does a shark yell like tarzan instead of roaring?

  • @danniedanniedannie6 well thiat is a classic example of a...

    BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

  • lol...

  • I love Freddy Krueger

  • Out of the many episodes Glen Kennedy animated, I think this one was the best, almost on par with the other animation studios. And somehow, I enjoyed the eye gags.

  • I agree! Well actually, Glen Kennedy didn't animate much in this segment (Jon McClenahan did), but did you see the "One Minute to Three" segment? That's possibly some of Glen Kennedy's best animation for the Tiny Toons!

  • eddys claw looks more like wolverine claws then freddys

  • I always figured that Freddy Kruger had that "Cat-like tenacity and Stealth as many other Super awesome Horror Movie Icons do..."

  • Good ol' Eddie Cougar, ha ha. In my opinion, that was a point-on accurate portrayal of Freddy Krueger, including the 'how sweet, fresh meat' line. I can't believe no one mentioned the 'ki ki ki, ma ma ma' noises from the 'Friday the 13th' series while the deer was drinking water, though.

  • Hey skinny,

Can you tell mw hoe they modified Eddie's voice just like that did for Freddy? I noticed that when Freddy or Eddie talk, they have the demonic sound in their vocal chords. What are the producers using to make them do that?

  • I would think that they probably used a pitch shifter to make Freddy's voice deeper and more demonic. I'm not sure what kind of technology they used back in the day, but I'm fairly certain that producers today probably use something like Adobe Audition for this process. The scene I've included clearly shows there is a recognizable difference in Robert Englund's voice compared to what is found in the final cut of the film. Hope this helps, blueplague888.

  • I tried the link but it's not working.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I always wondered how they did that.

  • Hey, do you think they could've made a cartoon series using that Eddie Cougar character? I thought that was a pretty slick idea to create a parody of Freddy Krueger.

  • This cartoon is like halloween

  • 4:28 the kid looks like astro boy.

  • Buster: "I'm gonna invite Plucky over for a sleep over, and then not do anything with him. Then I'm gonna get pissed when he wants to spend time with me while I'm trying to sleep"

Seriously, I would have gotten yelled at for just leaving my friend in the other room watching TV. I thought the guest was supposed to pick the activities.

Also I always thought 5:05 was hilarious.

  • I kind of doubt Buster would use that talk.

  • At least he didn't invite Babs in this episode, as if it were because Plucky's noise would have bothered her more.

  • Buster should really never invite Plucky to spend the night again, especially for renting possibly-R-rated movies.

  • At least he didn't invite Babs.

  • Does anyone remember that one episode where this psycho British lady killed Buster by sucking out his soul with a machine? Well, that's what i remember from it. I recall having serious nightmares about it.

  • I remember that and it wasn't his soul, it was his "inner comedy" and she was a censorship woman who thought cartoons weren't supposed to be funny. She did the same thing to everyone but Babs... oh and when it happened to Gogo Dodo he acted like the melting wicked witch of the west.

who am I? just a guy who is writing a One Piece/ Looney Tunes fanfic who is looking for casting ideas for the Tiny Toon characters... I already did some Histeria! ones.

  • I think Eddie Cougar should portray Abslom if I ever got to the Thriller Bark arc.

  • Thanks for uploading this; Eddie Cougar was AWESOME!

And that deer's scream sounds like a sheep! :P

  • You welcome, That deer reminds me of bambi, doesn't it? and yeah the scream sounds a sheep screamin'. It's a funny-ass scream lol and I like how Eddy Cougar does his sinister laugh.

  • Yep. And that sheep scream sounds funnier when Plucky imitates it!

One of these days I'm gonna have to make myself an Eddie Cougar costume to wear for an upcoming Halloween!

  • Now that sounds boss! Hey, post it up on youtube when you get a chance. :)

  • @wiley207 It is a sheep, if i recall.

  • "The only crazed maniac around here is you."

    "Duck! Bed! Now!"

  • Naughty duck, watching horror flicks and lying to Buster. Should I be glad Buster didn't invite Babs over?

  • I almost forgot to say that I remember watching this episode.

  • Plucky was lying he knew he was scared, buster gave him that warning not to be watching scary movies because it will give him nightmares so what happens it all comes true.

  • I think that's Charlie Adler (Buster) as Eddy Cougar.

  • Yeah, I believe you're correct. That must be Charles Adler as Eddy Cougar. He's a really good voice actor.

  • yeah too bad he dropped out.

  • Well he had a reason to leave, Warner Bros. didn't give him not even one role in Animaniacs. That was messed up. When Charles left, there was only like three episodes left, plus the Christmas special.

  • yeah I know, they re-cast with John Kassir (Because of Tales from the Crypt fame) who (in my opinion) wasn't really good as buster.

  • I totally agree, It didn't feel right watching him do Buster Bunny. When I watched the Christmas special and spring break special, i felt like I was episodes of Tales from the Crypt, since he voiced the Cryptkkeeper.

  • Kassir didn't have the crack in his voice that Adler used all the time, they could have cast a better person to play buster.

  • I meant they could have re-cast a better person to play Buster

  • @RayOfHope612 Is it true that Charles Adler had a dispute with Warner Bros., which cost him his role as Buster Bunny? I read about it, some time ago.

  • @ApacheMan2K It's true, because WB did not give him a role in Animaniacs. They back-stabbed him and he was upset about that.

  • @RayOfHope612 Dang. That must have been frustrating, especially if Adler was working hard for a role in Animaniacs.

  • @ApacheMan2K -- But he turned out OK, he got most of the roles in "Rocko's Modern Life". I don't know what he's doing now, but if he's had anything to do with Spongebob, he's still doing fine.
