I own Both a 2008 R52 S (supercharged) and a 2007 R56s (turbo). The Turbo kicks ASS all over the supercharger. Both in comfort, quality and crap loads of torque.

I've wanted a Mini ever since I first laid my eyes on you, and that was when they were first released (not the original Mini, yet I would love to have one of those too). The MINI is an amazing car. You get the best of all worlds, great mpg, fast 0-60 time, amazing safety, not to mention on the slalom track it will out handle sports cars 3 times its price. The MINI is not a girly car, but there may be a girl driving it that you don't want to mess with.

I also love that people seem to forget the Mustang was originally marketed as a secretary car!!

the mini is definitely not a girlie car. it is one of the best performance cars on the market (okay, it's no lotus exige or enzo ferrari, but i digress). the only way that the mini could be a girlie car is if you make it look like one. it certainly doesn't perform like one. and you're right about the mustang. mustang=redneck or baby boomer. why on earth do you need a huge V8 to "have fun?!" As long as the car is lightweight and nimble, there is no need for such a huge engine...

but all of the automatic trans suck... manual all the way :) love my getrag trany. the auto's may be "quicker" in a quarter mile, but they are still slower around the track, and if you even mention 300+ hp to the auto trany it will just give up there and keel over and die, while the getrag has been known to handle well over 400 hp.

The Cooper 1/4 mile is 16.6s, S is in 15.3s, and the GP is in 14.5s.

ok, not bad but some camera work on the actual corners would have been cool, maybe a shot from the interior as it did the quarter (which wasn't obvious) and even a camera shot facing the car as it whizzed past at the end would have been nice.

Just a couple tips for the cam.

Looking at the mufflers at the end for several engine revs did little.

Otherwise, a cool shoot and great subject.
