Fabulous! Thanks for making it easy to see what you are doing. This will be a great help to me as I learn the song..... You are a pleasure to listen to!
Thanksalot for your work. Very clear explanation indeed! I'v been playing guitar for more than 40 years, and still something to learn. Keep up the good work.
gosh i been playin the blues forty years and still there's intracasies that seem to elude me and they're so simple it's strange. either way thanx for this, i think i may glean something new, not sure. you play excellent, lee
Shit hot playing. and really good taste. Anyone who likes Duane and Peter Green is alright by me. Have you ever had a go at Willie Johnson's style of playing? He was all over the early Howln' Wolf stuff in the 50's before Hubert came along. The guy was an absolute genius. Keep it up, man. If it wasn't for people like you, splattered all over Youtube, my playing wouldn't be half as good as it is now, and for that I'm eternally grateful (dead or not!).
Thanks for the tips man! can you please tell me what is that chord you use in the very begginging? I heard from someone that its a g7 but i dont think it would be since there's no g in it? maybe im wrong?
Sweet stuff, Dan. If I could ask for one more thing it would be a little brighter light on your fretboard. These old eyes don't see as clearly as they used to. But please keep it coming. You got the mojo.
Nice one all the way from England. This is probably as near as it'll get. I like the way you've combined Duane(God) and Dickie's parts into one rhythm track. This'll definitely get me playing this a helluva lot better. Have you listened to Cream's versio of this in C from the 2005 Albert Hall gig (I was there-awesome).
Yes, I have. You have a very good ear!! I'm obviously a big Duane fan....but Dickey speaks a little more to me and his style is a little more accessible. Thank you again!
Hey, I'm certainly not an accomplished player ,but I'm no bad either, and I was able to spend a few hours just messin with this video today because of the close ups. It would be great if you broke down licks slow every once and a while, but either way I'm diggin your new format.
Thanks for the close up! I really like to watch your videos to learn some of your riffs and licks, but often can't figure them out when I can see your whole room, so I really hope you do alot more like this one!!
Great playing man, enjoyed it....keep it up

Thank you do much for this fantastic video. It is very clear and you make a very good approaching to the Allman´s original version. Congratulations.
By the way, I´ve listened many versions of this song and for me Allman´s is the most heartful one. Warmest regards
