hey 1 question my gas pistol is kanda fucked up my gun every time i fill up the mag it only shoots about half of the mag its annoying and i fill it full i use propain to if thats a problem because its a kwa m9 ptp 1 of the best ones u can get so any suggestions and it shoots shit loads of gas out when i shoot it

Well both guns (kwa m9 and m93) are very reliable. The m9 is a semi automatic gun,, so it gives the impression of a real sidearm. Lol on top of the the US forces use the m9. Buttt the m93 goes automatic and burst. this could be a huge advantage. Although when i picked up the m93 in real life, it was somewhat big and boxy. I didnt really like that. Basically ask yourself. would you prefer a semi automatic normal sized pistol or an automatic.. Which one do u like the look of better?
My mag for my m9 ptp was starting to come apart a couple days ago. An o-ring and a little metal piece popped out and so did the gold cap thing on the gas relief valve.
I don't here any hissing so I hope its not leaking and I am out of warrenty, would it be easy to fix cheaply?
@sk8erFORlater , My KWA M9 PTP broke. You know the thing that pushes the BB up in to the barrel? Something happened to mine and started to not feed in BB''s in the chamber and when it did it double fed and both BB's would fall out the barrel. i don't know if it's broken, and if it is, do you know any online stores you can find a spare one?
@snakeye54 The piece is called the cylinder and you can find it on KWA's online store but I highly recommend you send your gun in for them to fix it. The same thing happened to my gun where the little piece on the cylinder broke so I sent it in and they fixed it up very nicely.
hey i have the same gun but idk if this is somekind of a defect or not. On the side of the gun were it says "professional training pistol" and next to the button that you push in to field strip your gun my gun has like these little metal dents sticking up and its not smooth is yours not smooth either?
@SeanMaguire12 propane works fine for this gun but it may void your warranty and you should clean and put silicone on your gun after about 250 shots or after you use it for a while.
Wow, thanks for the fast reply. I only just bought the gun so i think i'll wait and use the warrenty first and then switch to propane. You know the small plastic part that moves over the bb when u pull back the slide. Thats what im afraid of breaking.
@SeanMaguire12 I broke that once and sent it in and they fixed it... you just have to use polished bbs and it won't break. When I sent it in I had been using propane and I even told KWA before I sent it in but they didnt seem to care. Later on my friend broke part of his KWA M1911 MK4 and he said he was using propane and they said that propane voids the warranty but they fixed it anyways....So I don't really know if it does or doesn't void the warranty but they don't really seem to care too much
@spuddapotato2494 well one way you could try is carefully sanding them down, which would probably work the best. and if you really had time and wanted to make it look perfect then u could try finding out the color of the paint used on the m9, then sanding away the trademarks, then repainting the sanded area to make it look new again. hell idk, nail polish removal may even work

@spuddapotato2494 sharpie wouldnt work well... and its not engraved its just some sorta paint that comes off fairly easy with some sand paper but then u have the silverish color instead of the black on the slide, so idk some sorta paint removal may work

@spuddapotato2494 ya no problem... well i decided to remove my trademarks so i used sand paper and the trade marks are gone buy now the slide is a silverish color so what i think im gonna do is cover up the sights and other little color spots with tape and just spray paint a flat black color over the whole slide... im just gonna have to find out a way to not get any paint on the internals of the slide
@sk8erFORlater hey cool! maybe just try removing the outer barrel and the sring guide and put tape or news paper over the holes that remain. either that or use a paint brush so you can do precise work! :)

hey i've been thinking about getting this gun as my first gbb and i've been wondering, have you had any problems with it while using propane? also is there any specific brands I should stick to? Was thinking of getting green gas with it but it seems like it's kind of pricey. I'm really new to this so any advice you can give would help.
@jamiekenta well i only use propane in the pistol and ive broken the trigger return spring twice and the outer barrel once and the gun doesnt work in winter. but theres parts u can get for it incase u break some part or u can send it in to KWA and theyll fix it and all gbb guns wont work in the winter unless they are CO2. So aside from all of that, this is my favorite airsoft gun and its much more realistic then the electric and spring guns. I would just stick to getting a KWA. Theyr the best
@jamiekenta if u are now to airsoft, and are looking for a high quality gbb pistol, and if u got the money, go for the kwa m9 ptp. it uses a new ns2 gas system, which basically means higher gas efficiency.. but it looks ugly as fuck... the kjw m9, however, is 50 dollars cheaper, is made of FULL metal and is WAY more cool looking.. i had a choice to choose between the kwa and thekjw as MY first gbb, and i chose the kjw... but in terms of performance, u cant beat the kwa m9 ptp

@TheWhole9Yards1001 i dont think the ksc is the same as the kwa m9... i heard that ksc uses cheaper materials but they usually look better... and no you probably couldnt use kwa mags in a kjw m9 because i believe the kwa mag is specifically designed for the kwa m9 because it has something to do with the ns2 gas system.
Why did you use crossman bbs in it are you dumb every good airsofter knows to use atleast .2 in a pistol like ksc perfect or tsd tactacle.NOOB. but KWA RULES!!!!!
@dkcheapo Well I don't have the KP45 But I have heard that it is slightly better than this gun in performance. But this gun is a professional training pistol so it is just like the real M9. The weight is the same as the real M9, it has almost all of the same functions, its all the same material as the real M9. Anyways, they are both good but the KP45 is slightly better and the M9 PTP is more realistic and cooler looking. Make sure you use KSC/KWA perfect bbs in both or it can break the cylinder
@sk8erFORlater They are definitely NOT made of the same materials. Real M9s have steel barrels, steel slides, and T6 hardened aircraft grade aluminum frames. The KWA has a plastic barrel and lightweight soft "low grade" aluminum slide and frame. All aluminums are not created equal. (Not to trash the M9 PTP, they're great GBBs, but don't buy in to the "PTP" hype, its just a marketing label)
