In My Opinion and Usage,

A Rebel is a "PERSON who STANDS UP for their OWN Personal OPINIONS DESPITE what anyone else says"

I do Not look at the "Government" as "God",

so therefore i Simply can't mean "Rebel" as "Satan" when I say that.

(that would be the direct comparison of the two synonyms i believe)
