@ArkGrave Naw I dunno how Bad Eggs happen. Maybe sometimes if you break 510? Not all the time. That might be more of an AR issue, but now everyone has pokesav which is much better as it just directly changes the data in the save file itself as opposed to adding some code and messing with stuff.
Sleep powder....if it's not 100% I rather not take my chances on it, i've seen other vids people pulling of the sleep powder then spikes leech seeds etc, sometimes it takes them like a 2nd try. By the way why didn't you have a shedinja instead and have baton pass would've made your pkm faster
@ArkGrave Seriously? Sleep Powder is one of the best moves in the game.
Even IF it takes you 2 turns, you put one of their guys to SLEEP, and is USELESS until it wakes up. You easily get at LEAST one turn back immediately, you can't put a price on that. Not to mention people fear the sleep and often switch that turn anyway.
What about moves like Toxic, Stone Edge, Hydro Pump, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, etc etc that EVERYONE uses. Not everything is 100%.
sleep powder is like what 80% success? If someone throws and Electrive at you with Life orb and ice punch , you have 1 chance to put it to sleep cause if not.....Roserade would be dead. Your talking about different types of moves now, which by the way most people would probably replace. I know not everything is 100% im just saying don't rely on a move that has a probability of not landing on the target
@ArkGrave If you miss and they switch, you either go for it again being faster, or switch yourself. Electivire is not very threatening, he's extremely overrated--bad example. 75% is reliable. You're putting it to SLEEP for Christs sakes, you can't afford NOT to.
Most people would replace? Hardly. Stone Edge, Toxic, Fireblast are some of the most common moves in the game. Every grass poke packs sleep powder + leech seed just about. You act like they ALWAYS miss..
@ArkGrave You've seen my recent NU battles? My Toxic and WoW miss about 50% of the time. They're STILL useful and necessary moves to use and are worth the time. What else would I do in the meantime? Powerful moves are riskier but pay off more. You don't see people using Shock Wave and Aerial Ace for a reason.

I do have a action replay and can pull out any pokemon 31 IVs all stats, 255 EVs, and even make it any ability I want. I only use it for stuff like getting through the Battle Frontier places and even then I lost against Palmer the second time. I could naturally EV train though... My own preferences.

i did the calcs and Slowbro is indeed hacked. a non-STAB leaf knot would have left slowbro with EXACTLY one hit point (if Seth's slowbro had max sp. def.).

I kinda of get screwed when playing pokemon mainly because I have always played with the same types or pokemon being in my team for each starter that I do start off with so in that sense it is very easy to beat me but then at the same time very hard I have been playing this game since it came to America i grew up on it and the show so im okay not the best but okay and At the same time of having so much time under my belt I have never even heard of damage calc or anything related to that
I grew up with pokemon... But just recently I discovered what EV's are, what you can do by breeding, and that swords dance is not as useless at it looks. And all those advanced things... I sure have a different view about pokemon now.
Two reasons. The good one being that we both knew my Ape wouldn't be effective, thus he predicted the switch and wanted to use WoW on it. Pretty solid.
The other reason, is that I likely was not thinking of the fire type being immune to WoW, or figured it wasn't worth the risk of him doing something else. It was a long time ago but I'm pretty sure I had just forgotten in the heat of battle---but at least had a solid thought in my head.
Thanks for that, I was just wondering, and it's cool how you were honest about how you might have forgotten it, most people are to stubborn to admit they made a mistake.

wow im trying to get into this whole online thing, i started a few days ago on pokemon, and i learned all about ev training and pokerus and the ev items, so im going to wait till i hatch eggs of my pokemon to ev train ,but i forgot one thing, i know the max evs are 510 but whats the max you can use on a single stat for a pokemon, 250?
252. effort points divided by 4 gives 1EV. if u make sure you give 252 to two of the stats you're targetting, not only will u get max EVs for those stats, you will also have 6 more effort points to give to another stat, meaning +1ev on another stat!
ok, nvm its been confirmed, i was just talking to him, he told me his blissey was able to do the said things i said below because it has 369 Sdef, 249Satk and 209 speed, thats 756 Evs right there. and he was ackting like its was prefectly normal for blissey to run that.
um, i think i battled someone who had a blissey that broke the 510 limit. my specs alakazam is timid, with 252 evs in satk. i use trick and then get hit from a ice beam from. i tryed to run clacs my self and the dmg it get should be from 252 ev satk blissey, i then use focus blast,the dmg blissey took seems to be from 252 sdef and hp. can anyone double check it for me. its my 13th wifi video and its at the time frame, 4:08 to 4:35. please double check for me.
also, i just noticed that the blissey out speeds my milotic, and even if milo has 0 spe iv and blissey has 31 dpe iv, milo is still faster, so it had to have evs in speed aswell
So you would care if you played pokemon that were created using pokesav just as long as they are legit stats. Also do you train all your pokemon yourself? if you do that must take a long time to train to 100 :) thx

Yup. Say your Mence has 252 attack EVs and a 31 Attack IV at level 56. When you go into the battle, its attack will be 405.

Shedinja ONLY has 1 HP. It is impossible to have a shedinja otherwise.
Focus sash is used after one save and then it goes away.

LOl know your facts before complaining. What Pokemon player dont know that Shedinja has 1hp even if you level it up to level 100.

wow im trying to get into this whole online thing, i started a few days ago on pokemon, and i learned all about ev training and pokerus and the ev items, so im going to wait till i hatch eggs of my pokemon to ev train ,but i forgot one thing, i know the max evs are 510 but whats the max you can use on a single stat for a pokemon, 250?

252. effort points divided by 4 gives 1EV. if u make sure you give 252 to two of the stats you're targetting, not only will u get max EVs for those stats, you will also have 6 more effort points to give to another stat, meaning +1ev on another stat!

ok, nvm its been confirmed, i was just talking to him, he told me his blissey was able to do the said things i said below because it has 369 Sdef, 249Satk and 209 speed, thats 756 Evs right there. and he was ackting like its was prefectly normal for blissey to run that.

um, i think i battled someone who had a blissey that broke the 510 limit. my specs alakazam is timid, with 252 evs in satk. i use trick and then get hit from a ice beam from. i tryed to run clacs my self and the dmg it get should be from 252 ev satk blissey, i then use focus blast,the dmg blissey took seems to be from 252 sdef and hp. can anyone double check it for me. its my 13th wifi video and its at the time frame, 4:08 to 4:35. please double check for me.

also, i just noticed that the blissey out speeds my milotic, and even if milo has 0 spe iv and blissey has 31 dpe iv, milo is still faster, so it had to have evs in speed aswell

Nowadays, very few people care about any form of hacking.....
That is, as long as you keep it legit. This guy far broke the normal allotment of EVs, 510 max--and he took it x3 to 1524

So you would care if you played pokemon that were created using pokesav just as long as they are legit stats. Also do you train all your pokemon yourself? if you do that must take a long time to train to 100 :) thx
