  • Hand built w/ lots of VW parts.

  • They're T5s (drum brakes, rounded front hatch), being fitted with what look like Super 90 motors (solex PII carbs).

  • fantastic to see how much craftsmanship went into production of those fine machines and how almost everything was done manually...i want my 356....in red...

  • Whew!!! I'll have mine in silver, hard top.

  • What a wonderful video, where did you get it???

  • chef's secret.....

  • 1962-64

  • Those cars pictured are 356 B T5. Those were produced from fall 1959 until Septermber 1961. Thereafter, the T6 was produced until Fall 1963, followed by the 356 C that went out of production on April 28th 1965.

On May 26th 1966, Porsche delivered another 10 white convertibles to the Dutch Police.

  • Great video! This is, say somewhere mid 19-fifies? Does anybody know?

  • the Porsche in production is the 356C, which means the video is from 1962-1964.

  • No earlier than 58. Those look like 356 B cars to me, which were produced between 1959 and 1963

  • Those are B, more precisely B T5.

  • 4till4,com buy and sell 356s

  • I wonder how long the transmission installers back lasted!

  • Cool vid.
