u have sampletron but you didn't use orchestron choir? too bad. otherwise great, no wait, melody goes E, A, A, E, A, E, A, C, B, A. Chords are probably right, Am, short G, and F. It's a good deal of work to get cover sound right, good work.
Good comment...I seem to remember that I used Chamberlin Music Masters Choral because the Orchestron Choir had too much "male" in the mix. Whereas, the Chamberlin had more of the "high" female "ahssss" the Orchestron had more male sounding "ahssss" I not sure why this was the case but that was my interpretation of it. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably use Native Instruments Maschine--the choir sounds there might be the closest of all.
:) Well, nice of you to say that, and I think that I could say that your acoustic cover of Radioactivity is absolutly unparalled! In fact perfect! Thank you...
Really cool Walt. You're an amazing talent. I' can't begin to imagine how you can cover this stuff.. Do you read the music or play it by ear? Just curious. It's right - on cool and hip. Love it my friend!!
Hey Mark I really appreciate your kind words thank you so much my friend!! :) Well, in the case of the keyboard, actually I haven't yet learned to read/work with keyboard notation...though I do know a few chords and transpositions. I do play the keys by ear... The guitar is different of course: I can read music for guitar. I am hoping to blend more originals soon with guitar and low fi electro. Cheers Walt
Hello Walt! I've never heard any of these electronic gadgets! But you sure know how to make them work! Singing too! Very interesting Walt; you are ONE of a kind my friend. MANY stars to YOU!
Hi Julie, thank you so much for the nice comments my friend. :)
Julie, Most of these computer (VST 'Virtual Studio Technology') programs have only been around for several years or so. Before that, one would have to amass these thingson an individual basis...which could easily have run into the tens of thousands. Also, the reliability factor of the old tech electronics was nil and then some.
Hi Nick,
you have done a great job, I really like this cover version!
