I think google should buy Twitter and Yahoo, use yahoo messenger to build there own messenger that uses google voice so we can recieve calls w/o gmail open. Move all the yahoo accounts to google accounts, then intergrate Twitter into G+ :)

Has anyone else heard? One of the people in charge of Diaspora died at age 22 and no details will be released. I always had/heard of crazy theory(ies) that the government or Illuminati invented Facebook to track people, which sounds a bit far fetched, but after seeing The Social Network movie about how Facebook was made (like theyre making sure everyone knows the story), and now the creator of a site that can rival Facebook dies with no details being released, I cant help but wonder. Hmm....

@TheAkanksha2 We probably could. I think I've got it down to about 3 social networks I can manage, more than that is just a bad idea. For me right now that tends to be YT and twitter, with G+ and Facebook suffering because I can't pick between the two. Either G+ because I like it more, or Facebook because more people are there.

I use Facebook for family or friends I've met through home/school and then I use twitter/youtube to stay in touch with friends I've made online. G+ is my great effort to combine the two and just get on one network!

Honestly, if you people really "hate" Facebook as much as you say you do, you won't find much luck on these other social networking sites. They all do practically the same thing. You sure it's not the PEOPLE on Facebook and the way they use it that's annoying you? I'm pretty positive in most cases, it is.

@emy0ox I don't particularly hate Facebook, but I find G+ to not only, as you pointed out, have a better crowd, but to work more fluidly. I wish it had the population of Facebook as it works brilliantly. If I had to rank my social media sites, with YT being a given at #1, it would go Twitter, G+ and Facebook in that order until G+ gets a larger population.

@TheLionsDenNews I don't really mind what is used, I just wish that people using it would stop pretending to 'hate' a certain site because of what the rest of the crowd thinks. I suppose sheep will be sheep. I have nothing against the sites themselves, it's the attitudes towards them and the frustration that comes with the majority of people suddenly deciding everyone needs to change sites and set up all their info, re-add people etc., because the previous site is now 'uncool'.

i like facebook but it make me feel terrible when some ego maniac runs the show. Facebook billed me twice through my visa card and notified my funding source failed! They ignore my inquiries just because they're big and i'm small. This kind of people what makes the technology being hated. Not the technology. After being ripped and banned by facebook with no reason of whatsoever, I'm putting my hope on google+ (google staff attitude is more professional than facebook)
