Thanks, like I said before we still have 5 of these in operation. They are now pushing 26-years old (I think) and I would love to have one for my own light collection but they are in the factory building were I work- and sadly I think they are there to stay. I will have to check the base for the lead-acid battery. - Thanks for watching!
@VICNASTY1989 The old signs are the best signs. Ever since they started going ''modern', w/ a bunch of stupid curvs and what not they look horrible.
The battery is probably between the base and the electrical junction box, that is your best bet, unless there is a remote box some where that connects them all, which I doubt.
Nice! Dual-Lite EXquIsiTe, model EDRWW-DC-6V (maybe -DC-12V if those emergency lamps are on a 12 volt system. Looks like it is in pretty decent shape for its age. Let me know if you ever need any parts for those old Dual-Lite models or L.E.D. retrofit lamps. Its good to see a few of the old Exquisites still in operation.
Thanks, we have five of these signs still in operation at the factory where I work. I am the maintenance person, and I am constantly changing out the bulbs, I find the exit sign specific ones last a lot longer than standard 4 or 7 watters. The red plastic behind the sign has faded to yellow at the space where bulb is on most of them, and the DC battery back-up doesn't work anymore (I have no clue where the lead battery pack is located on the system). Thanks for watching!
The battery pack is most likely located in the mounting base.
You can get replacement batteries.
If they ever have them changed out, sell em on Ebay, i'd buy that lol..
But as Motomaster said, it is nice to see some old signs still in use.

I hope they are up there for another 26 years.
