I have the same K8 gixxer with a bazzaz ecu/r55 yosh slip on/ and bmc filter. I had it dyno tuned. I got it up to 104 hp at around 13.5 k rpm. There is a dip in the power at 6-8 k rpm then steady power on up. I am looking to upgrade to the same akra system you did. With the auto mapping component do you not need to dyno tune the ECU? What is the power band like, smooth or choppy? Thanks for posting brother.

@goosedizzel ya bro i took it to my mechanic and he explain wat was happendin to the bike he said the bike was definetly runnin really really lean but long story short he told me i needed to get a pc so i found some guy in the gixxer forum and he sold me a pc3 for 150 so i got couple of says ago and i finally got dyno tune 6/18/11 and i must say wat a difference bike feels amazing and i was able to gain 10 hp pretty happy

Hey bro i have a 08 750 and i just put a two bros full exhaust on 5/15/11 and it was fine up until 5/21 where it didnt want to start. When i finally got it to start it idle for a several second and then turned off .. oh and is this all happenin zince i dodnt have the bike tuned with a power commander? ?! ! Im really woried cause some guy in a shop said i could of probably messed up a valve? Is that true??

@08gixxerrider No. changing the exhaust and not getting a tune won't cause the bike to do whatever is happening to yours. I think something else is wrong. I would take it in and get it looked at.

pc5 is old news, the new bazzaz FI unit is better it connect to all 8 FI and the soft ware is a bit eazier to use then dynojet . the pc5 only connects to the top 4 FI . i got 09 gsxr with yoshi and im going bazzaz FI unit . its up to you really

Great video bro. The exhaust sounds amazing. I have an 06 GSXR and I'm planning on slapping on a full Akrapovic exhaust pretty soon. How much did you spend on the electronics part of the setup?

I got quoted 1k for the full exhaust from a local shop. Which seems like a pretty good deal.. But I didnt ask about the ecu stuff..

@112gsxr Humm, I paid like $1580 for my full exhaust and CF can. Just do your research. ECU install was plug and play. Do it all yourself.

@JoeGixXxer521 No re-map. Just set it to grab info while you ride, then after the ride, apply the settings and keep doing it. Then you will have a custom map based on your area/riding style.

Well...the manual says to use 10W-40. Pour 2500ml (2.6 US qt) of new engine oil through the filler hole and install the filler cap. NOTE: About 2200ml (2.3 US qt) of oil will be required when changing oil only.
