  • Are you just using your mouth as the "click" or is there something else you are using for your clicker?

  • Wie immer: klasse!!! As allways: Great!!

  • Awesome! :)

Great job. I love how you've built it up so that she has to give you all the coins before she gets the treat.

Any advice on teaching fetch? Where do you usually start?

I've been working on it with one of my rats, shaping her to go to an object, picking it up, hold it for some duration start moving with it....However, I'm getting stuck because any time we get to her holding an object for some duration, she starts running away to find a good place to hide it!

  • @cheerioTrainer Hi! This is a great basis! I'd reward her for hiding it and let her do so several times, later I'd block her from entering her hidebox (or whatever) with a high value treat in my hand and exchange it for the object. After some practice she should begin to bring it straight to your hand.

  • @MouseAgility Thanks so much for the reply. :)

I'll keep working on it and post a video of our progress at some point.

    cheers,

    Mary

  • This is excellent.

  • Damn, that mouse got ripped off.

  • Genius! Both of you
