I can't see the American monster having the courage to fight. It repeatedly ran away from the US military. It looks like a T-Rex with teeth on it's back. Nothing original in it's design.

You know, I may be in a distinct minority, but I prefer the American Godzilla with its plot that makes sense and its monster that looks, moves and acts like a monster over the nonsensical Japanese movies where it's obviously a guy in a rubber suit that ressembles what people thought a T-rex looked like back in the 40s or so.

Japanese godzilla would obviously win against the USA rip-off. The REAL godzilla has fought off dozens of giant aliens, robots, mutants etc. Whilst zilla? Barely any. Face it, the US version lost. The JAP original has a lot more experience.

Really my favorite Godzilla, is the Godzilla (Heisei) from 1991. From "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah" (1991). It has the best overall look in my opinion and has the most menacing looking face as well. It wasn't like Kong defeated him easily, for great part of the movie Godzilla was kicking his furry ass, its just that at the time Kong was more popular and was the "lesser of two evils", Godzilla was evil and as a bad guy he couldn't win, still, Godzilla proved to be superior until the electric storm, and even after he give Kong a run for his money.
take in mind how much changes they made to Kong to endure the fight, plus Godzilla being weak to electricity, and even Kong couldn't even kill him. on another note, "Godzihamehameha"? what the hell?

This Film perfectly portrays Godzilla's Unstoppable power, with him destroying any Monster who dare cross his path!. He makes short work of Zilla and rightly so as Big G has bigger Fish to fry!.

GINO was going for realism, while Gojira was going for a literal "Godzilla", an atomic monster that can kill pretty much anything its path. Either way, Gojira would've won, but I still think GINO could've survived a bit longer, because if I was watching this movie, then I would wanna see two giants kick the hell outta each other, not one monster get owned in 1 minute. Overall, a boring fight.
I'll say one thing about the US Godzilla. I was never a big fan of Godzilla movies. Once I saw the US movie, I started wanting to watch the original movies more. Probably haven't seen them all. Just whatever's available on VHS or DVD. Thanks GINO. :)

It wasn't like Kong defeated him easily, for great part of the movie Godzilla was kicking his furry ass, its just that at the time Kong was more popular and was the "lesser of two evils", Godzilla was evil and as a bad guy he couldn't win, still, Godzilla proved to be superior until the electric storm, and even after he give Kong a run for his money.

I'm American, and all we did was take Godzilla and make a Jurassic Park freak show out of him. I hated the American Godzilla movie. Here we had the one chance to really make a damn good Godzilla movie, and we screw it up. Shame on Hollywood. Shame I say.

This show is rediculously racist..... American godzilla getting killed in one blast when other monsters can take 10+ of them before they even start to get weak. In another godzilla it was talkin about WW2 and was saying somethin about "and the Americans ran like the cowards they really were".....full of shit show. American godzilla first of all is bout 25 meters longer and bout 25,000 tons heavier.

As for the Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah scene, the Godzillasaurus wasn't protecting the Japanese troops, it was protecting itself from the American troops who were trying to kill it and the Japanese troops thought the Godzillasaurus was protecting them. Here's my opinion:
GINO was going for realism, while Gojira was going for a literal "Godzilla", an atomic monster that can kill pretty much anything its path. Either way, Gojira would've won, but I still think GINO could've survived a bit longer, because if I was watching this movie, then I would wanna see two giants kick the hell outta each other, not one monster get owned in 1 minute. Overall, a boring fight.

I'll say one thing about the US Godzilla. I was never a big fan of Godzilla movies. Once I saw the US movie, I started wanting to watch the original movies more. Probably haven't seen them all. Just whatever's available on VHS or DVD. Thanks GINO. :)
