  • I always thought Geeta Dutt and Saigal had no parallel in terms of conveying the emotions of a song. Now as I listen to her, I find that Surraiya is as good as these two stalwarts. Great discovery for me!!!!

  • In this 1954 Movie 'Shama Parwana'  this lady is against 21 years old Shammi kapoor.

    And in 1963 movie 'Rustam Sohrab' the same lady is against Prithvi Raj Kapoor, father of Shammi kapoor.
