  • I'm dying to get like the yarn you're using but it's not available in Morocco :( it's true that flowrs I am making the actual yarn available are kind of acceptable but if only I can find a yarn with the quality you're using they'll be just as perfect as yours ....

  • Thank you. I have a little heart purse if that is something you would be interested in.

  • I would love that! I just want to be able to whip it our real quick cause I have a small baby, and he does not leave me the time I would like to crochet. I made them a small purse already but it does not look so hot. Your patterns seem to look good and hold fast.

Thank you!

  • i'v tryed 7 crochet flowers and all of them turned wonderful. after this one i sign up in the you tube just to say thank you alot. i knew how to crocet but not to make a beautiful flower like yours. but now i know

  • Thank you very much, I appreciate the comment and that you have signed up.

  • Drum roll, please...TA DA-A-A! I mastered your Cheerful Crochet Flower the 2-nd try, but boy, did I have problems with this one! Probably due to the multi-tasking I was trying to do at the time. Husband had the computer (used your written instructions), but was able to get it after about 5 starts. I came up with 6 petals 2 tries, ha! It's a real pretty flower, I need to find some daintier yarn to do them with as my Red Heart 4 ply type is not as pretty as yours. Thank you so much, Teresa!

  • I believe I may have used Caron which will work up a bit smaller and softer.

  • Many thanks!

  • thanks for the slow mo.

  • You are welcome.

  • thank you, this is a pretty flower!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Hi, can you please send me a playlist of flowers too? I just learned to crochet by watching your videos. Thank you for teaching us clueless folks.

  • Yes, it is on the way.

  • Hi, can you also please send me link for a good beginner flower? Cheers.

  • I will send you my flower playlist.

  • Do you have a video for a good beginner flower?

  • I send you a link.

  • thank u but istill didnt know how to do the petals T.T...............

  • I was a little lost after the attachement of the new color.... I didn't really get to see how you attached the new color.... :(

  • no manches esta bien chida tu flor me gusto mucho ,, y intentare hacerla yo ,, tambien mi madre y mi vieja,, aver si aprendimos con tu calse ,, gracias ,, thank you is beatiful flower,, my name is marcos

  • thank you! :)

  • could i ask what kind of yarn are you generally using? i mean what brand. your yarn looks so nice compared to mine although i'm using a good quality yarn, and i just cannot figure out what am i doing wrong.

  • It is 4 ply yarn. I use different brands.

  • how do i make the space between the center and petals smaller. I have gaps

  • What round are you referring to with making a space?

  • After I do the center. round 2 i have to ch3 sk next st and so on. after I do the petals I notice a gap under the petal.

  • That is how I wrote the pattern. If you want a smaller gap, you can do less chains.

  • thanks! I love your videos!

  • Thank you. :)

  • You are genius! Even total beginner like me can do the flower with your giude :) Greetings from Poland ;)

  • Thank you. :)

  • ok thankyou

  • You are welcome.

  • any time I make a flower it just comes out uneven how do you get yours to stay even?

  • If you are new to crochet, it could be that you are still developing your stitch tension. Once you practice a lot, your stitches will become more consistent.

  • thanks , this is so cool . I mada a scarf by connecting them togather.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • when u add a new colour u say chain one then single crochet where do you do the single crochet? and u didnt say nytin about a slip stitch

  • Change color and/or attach a new color and slip stitch are the same difference with crochet. By default, you always pull up a loop or slip stitch to attach the new color. I can direct you to some beginner projects if you would like.

  • yes please direct me to some beginner projects.

  • hello umm.. in this video when u change colour can you tell me how to change colours and after that where do you do the single crochet?

  • Cut the yarn, of the color you are using, pull the tail on through your stitch to secure. Slip stitch your new color in any stitch. At time code 3:16 the video shows the chain 1, single crochet.

  • thank you. your tutorials are awesome!

how do you join the flowers if you want to make a square mat, for example?

  • You are welcome. I appreciate your comment. You can slip stitch them together when you are making the last round. Since they are uneven shape petals, you make want to do a little sketch for petal placement. If you wanted more space between flower, you could also add a chain around the flower and join them by slip stitching the chain sections together.

  • thank you!

  • The flower, canwe do it with the same color?

  • You can use all one color.

  • Hi, I would like to try the "magic loop" too, but the video goes a little fast for me too. Could you send it to me as well? thanks,

  • My send option is not working right now. You can copy and paste these keywords in to the Youtube search, "Magic Circle Crochet tjw1963"

  • I am having a hard time getting started because I don't think i am doing to magic loop right. Is there another video where i can see this better?

  • I have a demonstration specifically for the magic circle. I will send it to you.

  • Thank u so much for sharing this video,a question the first 2 lieves u start with chain 2 n 9 triple crochet, but after that u do chain 1 n 9 duble crochet?

  • You are welcome. Yes, that is correct. The petals on the last round are different sizes. 2 petals are larger and 3 are smaller. You can make them all the same size if you would like to. It will work with either size petal.

  • explain more

  • Of what?

  • so i totally made one of these and it turned out great and I got hooked. I need to make 203 more and i will be completely finished with my project. I'm sewing them together to make a blanket for my mom for xmas. So far so good. It's 12 flowers by 18 flowers so i'd once again like to thank you cause it's even easier to make once you get to it ^_^ i'll send you a pic when its finished if you'd like to see it

  • My goodness, you are making a lot of flowers. I would love to see a picture when you are finished.

  • That ought to be one awesome blanket! We want to see it when you are finished!

  • What a great idea! Good luck, i'm sure it will turn out beautiful and your mom will love it!

  • omg i had no idea how to crochet at all, i have failed miserably and just by watching one of your vids i can crochet to my little hearts content. I love how you actually slow it down so we can see exactly what you are doing, thank you soooooooo much this is like the biggest help to me ever ^_^

  • Thank you. I appreciate your feedback and comments. What you just wrote is the reason why I do the video's. I want to make it easy for everyone to understand the basics of crochet.

  • i crochet and sell hats. and your vidoes are such a great help thank you!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • i love your videos they help me so much. i have learned lots of tricks and fun new ideas.thanks

  • You are welcome. :)

  • how do i attach a new color?

  • You just do a slip stitch with your new color.

  • These are just what I have been looking for. I'm going to cover a whole cushion with these flowers. Thanks so much.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • I'm so glad that I've found you!

  • Thank you so much for your generosity of sharing with us your wonderful ability with crochet and to teach it!

  • Thank you. :)

  • How do you make the loop? x

  • ...oh I worked it out from one of your other videos! x

  • OK, glad you got it. There are a lot of other tuts that show how to make the magic circle.

  • Hi...Just wanted to let you know that I love this flower pattern. I've shown everyone on my job how the pattern and they love it as well. It looks complicated, but its really simple. Im glad I subscribed...because I love your vids. Thank you so much!!!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Thank you for being so generous with your time. Your videos are excellent.

  • Thank you. :)

  • wow nice work

  • Thank you.

  • How many chains do we do if we don't know how to do the magic circle or just prefer chaining lol?

  • Chain 4.

  • If I were going to use this on a very large purse, could I use this as a button?

  • You could use it as a button but it won't be very sturdy. If you want it sturdy, you might want to put it over a real button. It would be a good way to use up ugly buttons or old used buttons.

  • I have a gorgeous vintage doiley in my living room that has pansys all around, always wondered how they were done. Thanks.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • when u add the new color can u show how you do it? cuz u showed it already there... i have doubt on how to do that specific part...

  • I have a second pansy that I am going to demonstrate. In the editing process, I will try to make sure the slip stitch with the new color is shown.

  • this is so cute...seema

  • i luv to make flowers

  • Thats realy pretty .... can you use a thinner therad like a 10 count on that also

  • Yes, the flowers can be done in thread.

  • very nice

  • very nice
