I would imagine he could still communicate with people and whatnot so he would have communicated with this girl to get a body and then he transferred his on thoughts and the like to it. But that's just how I figure it must work.

I think that when phoenix "killed" Cyclops and Professor X, she didnt really killed them, probably she trasported them into another place so they could be safe, since Scott and Xavier were the closest people to her.. also we didnt actually see cyclops dying, the movie only showed a bid red wave of an optic blast in the distance... hope they bring Scott and Xavier in the next movie!

Yeah, because those little facets really ruined the storyline of the film. Why do you people feel the need to whine at tiny nuances that don't make a rat's arse difference to the story of the film, or the characters? First Class is a reboot, which explains the continuity differences. How difficult is it to understand? I hear nobody whining about the differences in the new Batman movies.

Universes are different storylines, sometimes they aren't in conjunction to each other; each universe is it's own in other words... there are so many different stories they don't have to make chronological sense!

The person that was disabled in the bed, is Charles' twin brother. Xavier's mind went into his twin brother's, therfore taking possesion of the body also. If a fourth movie is made, continuing this story, Charles will be able to walk again.

The doctor is Xaviers's long lost love. Yes she was in First class, but First Class takes place in the 60s you silly children. Over the years, people have aged. And yes Xavier placed his mind in his bothers brain. That does mean he is still alive and that still does mean a new X Man film can be made. Although many fans hate X3 because it didn't follow the comic plot. But it intrucded never before characters and a new universe or X Men movie. Somebody can do something with x men in the future

The man in the bed is Sebastian Shaw. His brain was destroyed by Magneto and Xavier but his body is still alive.
So Professor Xavier will come back in Xmen 4 played by Kevin Bacon (remember Shaw doesn't age). It's a smart move because Patrick Stewart is getting too old.

@nepomusik how?if anything it hilights how much 1st class fucked up the original films because in this scene although we cant hear it charles says 'Moira?'and this scene portays her as a doctor/geneticist like she is in the comics yet in 1st class she is an FBI agent.So unless the explanation is that Moira then became a geneticist this is one of the many things that,thanks to first class,doesnt make sense.Like how Emma Frost was in Origins as a young girl yet shes also in 1st class much older.
