I think that Sen. Obama brings back democracy. He, i believe will be the one to put a stop to America torturin people, and abondonment of the habeas corpus and a stop to us imprisoning people without a fair trial and put a stop the government listening in on conversations without a warrant. Yes Yes Yes he will be to bring back demcracy. Hillary clinton is a good woman a great politician and all but to me she seems to be a republican coated with a democratic suit on.

Well a democrat is going to win the presidency in 08', thats not a very bold statement given the congressional elections...the question is who will it be. Really it comes down to Obama or Clinton. Obama seems to be the least like the steryotipical politician, but he does lack the war chest clinton does...if the two go head to head i think that Obama can win the nomination on his charm alone, but the real question is...would Obama be a better president?

Its definitely a tough gig. Regarding his "war chest"-regardless of whoever wins, in the end the President, while Commander in Chief, is going to rely on the same military generals and probably the same experts on the situation in Iraq to really be able to make any firm decisions on the War on Terrorism. I do think though, given his worldwide travels and meetings with leaders of many difference countries, Obama would be more willing to take a peaceful, diplomatic approach to foreign policy.

If this guys, I think he'll win in a landslide. People are ready for a president like this, but not everyone. For all of us that support him, there are a select few of equal size that will not want this man to be president.

Barack Obama is inspring as a politician and as a human being. I have been a Republican my entire life and have always voted Republican, but I will vote for Barack Obama when he runs and I will pray that he wins. I believe he and other younger politicians coming through the ranks now can begin to turn the tide of this country from the money and power hungry "good old boys" that currently fill most of the seats

What?!? Congress actually does something Good, Practicle, and Open. So it can still happen. Its a shame that the Lobying bill got so watered down, but who knows this could be just as good if well implemented and used. Faith coming back...
