There are not ANY college bands that can compare to a Drum Corps. What do you think Corps are made up of? Exceptional High Schoolers, and the Best College students. Take 135 of the best members in any college band (including battery, pit, and guard) and stick them next to a Corps, and the corps will demolish them. Sorry hate to say it.

And yes, I am in a collegiate Marching band.

I agree with you somewhat. but there are college music majors that should march corps and they dont, but if they did they would be a great asset to any corp

Not every music major is a good DCI player. I know music majors who would rape most in a classical setting but suck balls when it comes to marching. i really think some people are amazing in different settings.

Good one, jl3tbone! Go back to grade school to learn some grammar, then realize that woodwind players do, in fact, march in the Drum Corps, even if they're not playing woodwind instruments (which makes them twice as talented as you). Way to tool your way through your post.
