  • I have problem with a Dell studio 1737, the error message on boot up is "battery is unidentified". I will try replacing the battery but if the problem continues do you think a power circuit board replacement will work?

  • @MultiNoobTroll When you receive the "battery is unidentified" error that is usually an indication that the battery is bad or it is a third party battery that is not recognized by the system. I would recommend replacing your battery with a Dell OEM replacement battery and I think that will solve the problem.
