hey I have a big chalazion on my left eye top lid its been there for about 3months, i got a needle with me & wanted to try what you did in this video, will all the pus come out? cause it feels hard ;( i try the warm compress but it made it bigger =/ please contact me back asap! thanks
@the09conradz well - I have and I'm perfectly well;) It is done by the doctor, from under the eyelid and I had it done day, or two days after. I did it to prevent self popping, wich could damage the external eyelid cover.
@the09conradz On this video it is me, but I'm simply reducing the pressure. I was pointing two facts - one - you see me, doing that, and I'm completely healthy now and - two - my current state is the result of the professional procedure I had next day by the doctor. Popping your eyelid won't make you blind, but it also won't remove the problem. Leave it and you may go blind in weeks or months. Curretage seems necessary.
@Gnato666 I think so. It grew in about a week ago and it hasn't gone away since, and it grow like in my eyelid in the corner of my eye. So I'm trying to avoid the expenses of Money going to the doctors, and going under the knife by popping it my self.
@the09conradz Well, I could give you some advice how to do it based on my experience, coz it was also expensive here, in Poland, but... The problem you have can be cured in basic stages with warm tea bags, later on it can be removed with some drugs. Only last stage - infection with puss and changing into sty is different. Warm compresses will make it grow bigger. You have to be aware how the procedure looks - it needs to be fully cleaned and some medicine applied.
@the09conradz You see - I've seen a doctor, he gives you some drugs to stop infection BEFORE the procedure. My sty was still growing and pressure was rising. 4 days before procedure I was wearing a cover for the nights to prevent self popping. It can mess your eyelid - it's popping outside. I used the needle to let go of that pressure. It will let you get some puss and blood out but will not remove all that shit from inside. The procedure is done by flipping your eyelid and incision is madeThere
@Gnato666 Ow.. I been trying to attempt to use a needle to pierce the sty that grew in my eyelid, but i was too afraid I could also pierce my eyeball and lose sight out of the eye.
@the09conradz It's pointless and hard. With one eye shut you loose stereoscopic view and 3D perception. I've pointed the needle so it was never pointing at eyeball but up. Second thing - just when you touch the lid with the needle you will react by blinking and muscle movement. That pierced it in my case. I'm pretty sure it won't help, so don't bother though.
dude after squeezing out those pus and blood are you completely healed? do you still need that minor surgery? me too i had a chalazion right now and some pus and blood come out dont know what will happen next
@iflymilly Well, we all have 4 meibomian glands, if the channels are blocked it ends with a mess that usually can heal by itsefl, but takes ages to do so. If you don't get into major trouble, it should be alright. Let's hope our won't return anymore.
So the doctor cut and poked at my chalazions and I eventually got them (2) removed a month ago but the bastards are still there. I'm an early teenager but I but I can handle the local anesthetic so I got that but the procedure was still pretty painful. one of my chalazions actually has scarring tissue on it and so the doctor said she has no idea what we're gonna do about that! And i have 3 chalazions but she removed only two because the other one wasn't flaring up and now it is. Far out.... Thi
My 7 year old daughter is having the procedure done very soon... we go see the specialist tomorrow. It has to be done in the hospital operating room because shes so young - they have to completely put her out. But hers are really bad right now. They usually go away on their own... not this time. Shes getting picked on by "big boys" at school telling her shes ugly and nasty because of her eye :( Breaks my heart! But my question is do they come back once you have the procedure done??
@MzPrizz08 I'm sorry for your little daughter, but being uncouncious makes this a little easier. In my case the anti-pain injection was painful as hell;) The answer to your question is:
- in my case, not yet
- from every source I found, unfortunately they return very often.
You have to watch for them, prevent by putting hot tea bags on the eyelids and be higenic around the eyes. Good luck, I hope mine will not return :(
Got 1 rite now man, it sucks, but its happened before. I'm all for bathroom surgery and all, but chalazions you should leave alone and let the doc do it. It's expensive w/o insurance, but your alternative of being blinded isn't cheap either. My 1st I let get so bad that when he flipped my eyelid, it popped on the outside..kinda shitty timing lol, but at least I got a couple handfuls of percocets! Didn't need them...minus the needle, getting it cut out was the only relief I needed.
@Gnato666 ya the day I got my first of two (I STILL GOT THIS FUCKER) cut out, it was coming to a head on the outside of my lid, and when he flipped it inside out, it popped...I was pissed cause I couldda saved some money! Any ideas on this guy I got now? its not infected or coming to a head, and I cant afford to go see a doctor..Wasn't Obama supposed to do something about that?
@Gnato666 honestly, I just been livin..Still got it but its getting bigger and redder. I look like Quazimoto lol! I did the hot compresses when I felt it coming in but it was determined to be a chalaz and not a stye! Its prolly a week from infecting itself out, but I don't want to let it drain, scarring. I have a scar from the last (and only!) one.when he flipped my lid, it burst, thats how long I waited, you could see it bigtime! Im goin to the doc. Thanks for the support tho man, feel ur pain!
@fergamis Hot compresses work well on chalazion I heard, when I started using them, I had an abcess already - in this state hot will only make it grow faster.

OMG you are so funny! I would have done the very same thing but your doctor is going to kill you,,,well so to speak. He has a tool that inverts the abscess so he can remove the cyst from the inside...in one piece. Now its not always going to work, even with this tool as the skin is so sensitive around the eye, but say you ran into a door or something. Thank you for making my day! lol Really this is great, please let me know what he said!
@carmy60 I know the whole procedure and I had it 2 days after. I just tried to prevent uncontrolled self- rupture ;) It was fun. The procedure was painful as hell - only the injections though
